In the show, the reanimated corpses and "white walkers" are different things.  The corpses (or Wights) are created by the White Walkers.  The White Walkers are something strange and other.

I'm not crazy with how the Others are visually depicted in the show, but I'm not saying that depicting them exactly as described in the book would be better.  Basically, I think it is difficult to display creatures like that in a visual medium in a way that is believable and scary without being silly.

Yes, but it is definitely mentioned much earlier.  In the book, it was Stannis's wife who brought over Melisandre and the "Queen's men" were Stannis's men that were most enthusiastic about the new religion.

Without spoiling you on what’s coming up directly, I will say that the Jon ending in this episode isn’t the only fairly significant departure from the book coming up in this season.

The books?

The most annoying thing about that Lord of the Rings cartoon was that they called "Saruman" "Aruman".

Surely you meant "coming to theatres in 2014". Ya jackass!

How many bananas does a chimp eat in a day?

Yeah, although Ricky is surprisingly knowledgeable about some subjects - when he talks about natural selection he seems to know it at about a high school level which is much better than your average celebrity or average person in general - I was also sometimes very surprised by what he didn't know.

Yeah, on the radio show Steve would get angry sometimes (or maybe just ACTING?) at Karl when Ricky would make fun of Karl and then Karl would talk about how Steve was "freakish", that it took a few weeks to "get used to" looking at his face, that people stare when he walks into a room, etc.  Steve would yell, "Why are
