The Quickfire magician wasn't that great
I'm not even skilled at sleight-of-hand and I could see him forcing cards. Why they included a zoomed-in shot that clearly showed him dealing from the bottom of the deck eludes me.

Almost, it's "State by State With the State: An Uninformed, Poorly Researched Guide to the United States". If you like the show, the same comic sensibility is on display. Used copies go for $30-50 on Amazon, eBay, etc. I will never sell my autographed (by some of them) copy.

If you liked fast-paced, quippy writing, Gilmore Girls is great - until Rory goes to college (not a spoiler, it's obvious from the first few eps). It's still decent for a bit after that, but after creator Amy Sherman-Palladino (and her husband who also wrote a lot of eps) left the show plummeted. I recommend it highly.

Wow, after working all night at my job in a U.S. hospital where I routinely have to defend other countries health care systems to my fellow employees (who should know better), it's lovely to come home to rational arguments in favor of some kind of universal coverage. If I have to hear one more anecdote of some

So what do we want?
I'd like to see more challenges for some of the dancers to shake things up. No more hip-hop for Philip & Jeanine, let him rise or fall with other styles. A hip-hop routine for Melissa & Ade. I like them, but let's see if she can crump (good call on that one Koski). Brandon & Jeanette, well they

No one was out and out bad, some were just meh. I was rather sad though that there was such good and interesting choreography that some the dancers couldn't live up to. I love Evan (and Randi, I guess) but could you imagine a couple of long-limbed hoofers tearing that number up? Like that choreographer too, good

No finale could have successfully resolved all the convolutions that have been introduced by then, so yes, a single episode (even a two-hour one) couldn't have resolved the series well. But when you ignore the intro that plays before every episode,
" [Cylons] have a plan." Oh wait, they don't, but God does. And His

Yeah that's my problem with the premise. I can't imagine he's going to be any kind of success based solely on dick size. Regardless, Jane is handsome and has a faded, former athlete charm, which as you say would seem to count for more with women thinking about hiring a sex worker, but then the show wouldn't have the

I read an interview with someone, maybe the show runner, that pretty blatantly stated that they weren't going to show it.

As much as I'm pulling for Evan, Naughty Ballerina is right: Melissa and Ade are killing it. The team to beat presently, though Janette and Brandon aren't far behind. After his performance last night, I wasn't surprised to see Brandon placed up front for the group dance tonight.

I was thinking that the more-styles-than-couples would provide some level of anticipation, otherwise if you're at the end to pick your "options" are narrowed and obvious. But now it's dawning on me that A) we don't see the whole draw process anyway and B) the dancers don't necessarily know what goes in the hat.

Or people stick another one on without taking off the first one. Or the wearer's temperature goes up increasing the rate of drug release. It's a great drug but whoo boy it's dangerous.

Liked the butt routine, haaated the aftermath. Bad puns and slavering praise (if we go on and on and on about how great MM is, maybe she'll get another Emmy!), blech. And sure Toni Basil's a legend (even though she stole Mark Mothersbaugh's moves and gave them to David Byrne) but whoo boy her critique's were limp,

Up high for my RTs, so necessary.

Semi-accurate portrayals:

This is a bit self-serving, but it's worth noting that three of the new medical shows (Nurse Jackie, HawthoRNe, and starting in the Fall, Mercy) have nurses as main characters rather than doctors. As a nurse myself, it's about damn time. One main character and a handful of secondary ones on ER never cut it. Don't even

Here here. Lexicondevil contributes greatly to my enjoyment of the comments section, as opposed to some other post-waaaaaay-too-much personages.

How about the introduction of the Lost people? "Co-creator Damon Lindelof! Executive producer Carlton Cuse! And these other people who do a job that doesn't merit mention of their names." Reminded me of the original lyrics of the Gilligan's Island theme where the Professor and Mary Ann were grouped

And from my experience, the gay guys working in EDs lean heavily to butch-gymrat stereotypes.

Yeah Haaz Sleiman was much, much better in The Visitor than here (so far).
