The '7 Minutes in Heaven' scene from the pilot seemed much more naturally done. This game just seems to have been written as exposition central after the writers realized there's a lot going on that that they only have a couple more episodes to wrap the season up.

Right? I didn't understand why Jughead just didn't unlock the door and leave anyways. Or better yet, sneak out the back.

Or KISS.

Oh, another Transformers movie? And it's a prequel? This is 100% completely necessary.

Well, he didn't get approval from Congress or the UN before launching the attack, so…not good.

It's easy to be optimistic and ambitious when you're still a teenager and your biggest worry is whether or not you're going to get asked to prom.

MORE JOSH, LESS JIMMY JR!

They mentioned that the New Zealander had moved to King's Head Island and wasn't actually an exchange student, so there's always hope!

Right?! How do they manage to make him look so much like a mannequin come to life? He's seriously off-putting.

True, but none of these teens have a good home life. Worse, Archie manages to be the shittiest person out of them all, when he probably comes from the most stable home. True, his dad is having financial troubles and his parents are divorced, but his dad is genuinely loving. Compare that to the households that

It also helps that he seems to be the one benefiting from Jason's death the most. He replaced him on the football team and he's managed to get in cozy with Cheryl. Riverdale only has room for one redheaded hunk, and Jason's been dethroned and replaced by the shirtless wonder. I'd buy the theory.

So, counting next week, Archie will have been with 4 girls/women in 9 episodes (I'm counting Veronica in the closet, for reference). Well, at least they're keeping one aspect of his characterization from the comics in tact.

Archie personifies all the worst teen show tropes. Guy who sudden realizes he likes the girl who liked him once she starts dating someone else? Check. Aspiring musician afraid he'll never make it big? Check. Feels he must single handedly save the family from financial ruin? Check.

Well, they have been downplaying the crazy in both Polly and Betty for the past couple episodes, and I would personally enjoy a return of some of that from both of them.

I can't help but think of Lochlyn Munro (aka Hal) as Cliff from Dead Man on Campus, which I was obsessed with in junior high. For some reason I think of Cliff as what Hal was like in college. It sort of works, somehow. The guy's good at playing unhinged.

I was amazed that they didn't use the construction work as an excuse for Archie to take off his shirt. This is the guy who goes shirtless night jogging, so the fact that he wore 2 shirts while doing manual labour is sort of mind boggling.

She's the First Lady.

BUT THE EMAILS….

They had it coming, they had coming, they only had themselves to blame…

I rewound the "Rock Me Amadeus" scene 3 times because I was laughing so hard. Tina's mild voguing was also amazing.
