This was just all over the place. So many questions! So many feelings! So many bad choices in one episode! Why the diary voiceovers? Why the completely stupid, awkward, unnecessary bomb plot? How did they evacuate Mystic Falls and an entire university campus without anyone noticing/caring? Why did we have to deal with

This would be amazing! It's absurd that no one outside of town has noticed that the population of this small town dwindles at an alarming rate. I miss the days when the police force actually made an effort to cover up the attacks. Seriously, a mass murder at a wedding would make international news.

Only ending up with PTSD seems mild on this show.

I think we can all agree that the real winner this season was Liam-with-the-eyebrows. He's the first non-central character to survive a full season in a long time.

The signal would definitely be a bottle of whisky instead of a bat though.

That made me want to yell at the screen. Um, Jo would ACTUALLY benefit from some vampire blood. Caroline or Stefan could definitely have helped too, instead of just standing around like they were waiting for a show to start. Priorities, people.

No one interacting with Alaric all episode, and then his character being forced to push his grief aside to come say goodbye to Elena was so uncomfortable. How could he stand to be in the same room as those people?

I'm going to assume that Matt is the only human left by that point. Why would he hang out around in a place that is overrun by all-powerful vamp-witches? Because he's a police officer? Time to peace out, Blue Eyes. Other places need police officers too.

Hahaha, oh man, that would totally be Damon's MK fatality move. Followed by a well placed snarky comment and grin.

Matt's quickly becoming a tragic figure. He's lost Elena, Jeremy, AND Tyler in one go. He's isolated now, so it'll be interesting to see where they take the character.

Every one of his scenes make me incredibly angry. He's been written into one of the most egotistical, selfish characters the show's ever had. And for what purpose? What are his goals? To convince girls to date him? At least Klaus was trying for world domination.

Same with Jeremy. They really needed more time together. Steven was brought back for almost nothing. I also actually lol'd at the fact that Jeremy and Elena were chatting at the scene where they smoked pot together, not their family home or something. #CherishedMemories

I definitely was. I could care less about the Elena-coma, but no possible return of Kai disappointed me. It would have been nice to have him heading up the Heretic gang instead of Lily and wishy-washy Enzo.

I'm so sad Kai's gone, because Chris Wood brought fresh life to the show. At least we got to watch an impressive Damon decapitation though.

Especially after he brought up their relationship while they were visiting the hospital, and Caroline had to point out that it might not be the most appropriate time to talk about their relationship.

At least Elena didn't outright promote the Steroline ship. I was waiting for it, but luckily it never came.

Forget magic - his true super power is his hotness.

I'm in denial.

Let's hope so. Shows tend to collapse without the main character.

That whole scene screamed 'We only have one more chance to add in a Delena sex scene.' Totally unnecessary and ridiculous, especially considering they were both in the wedding party.
