Twin brother?

I wish I could like this a thousand times! Well said.

Forget Caroline and Stefan, I'm excited to see how Alaric being back will impact Elena and Jeremy. Will they begin to have some kind of normalcy in their lives again?

I laughed at that too. Just for the record, our nation isn't completely desolate. And doesn't have hidden traveller tombs.

Haha, even when they're creating elaborate plans they still miss something basic. You think they'd be better at this after all their years of battling various villains.

Wow, that's genuinely awful. I'm always disappointed when a woman in a powerful position (especially the media,) brushes important issues like that aside. Poorly done, Plec.

Especially since they've watched Bonnie perform crazy spells before. You think they'd know that time wasn't on their side.

I think you just created the perfect tag line for season 6.

But just a few episodes ago Luke was talking about what great people they were (apparently better than their family? There must be a lot of issues there…). I just don't like Liv and Luke's everchanging attitudes towards the Elena gang. Either you want to help them or you don't. Either you think they're good people or

I definitely agree with you on that. The morals are so skewed on this show now that it's almost impossible to decide what actions are supposed to be acceptable and which aren't. Unless it's Damon or Enzo, of course. At least the show still recognises that murdering for the fun of it is bad.

That's true. Maybe Caroline shouldn't have just spontaneously killed Luke then though. Having a second witch would definitely have been an asset in this situation.

As Bad Wolf pointed out to me, Damon actually got held up helping Sheriff Forbes. Elena had nothing to do with him not arriving in time to get back through. That was all thanks to Luke stopping the spell too early. And Elena herself didn't rush to go back through. Bonnie grabbed on to her, forcing her to return from

Very true. Elena hopping in the car did remind me of something she would have done in Season 1 or 2. And it was nice to see Damon let her make up her own mind for once, instead of babying her and pushing her out of the car.

They were hoping it was permeable, but there was no guarantee that anyone would be able to come back. She risked Luke's life, which was unnecessary. I'm not saying that Caroline is evil, but that she isn't exactly the perfect example of morality either.

There was definitely stupidity aplenty. Just a typical day in Mystic Falls, I guess.

Ah, right. Thanks!

That would have been too logical! Her character definitely needs to be revamped. Clearly her motivation for the start of season 6 will be to get Damon back, but I hope they'll develop her character as an individual as well. This will literally be the first time that she will be "permanently" seperated from the

Wasn't Jenna human? Or am I forgetting something? Humans don't go to the Other Side. Also, Vicki was already pulled away by the mysterious paranormal wind gusts.

That's true. A few episodes ago though he was doing the protection spell for them because he thought they were "nice people". I really can't blame him, but I would have thought his natural reaction would be to help his sister finish what she was doing in the first place.

Agreed. And as boring as she is now, this show ultimately is about her. I think for better or for worse, she'll be around until the end of the series. Let's hope it turns out to be for the better.
