I'm now on Team Elena/Enzo. Or Elena/Matt. Or Elena/Aaron. Or Team Elena by herself. Pretty much her and anyone but a Salvatore for awhile.

I'm guessing/really hoping that one of the following things happens:

I find it interesting that all the witch hunters are male, and all the witches are female…except for the one flamboyant male council member. Now what's that saying?

Also, Toshi speaking in English? Fantastic.

Exactly! If this is what they're going to use as an excuse to drive the two apart, I'm going to be really disgusted.

I feel like if this show was darker we would see a scene where Matt murdered someone in an incredibly horrifying way, and when he was discovered he would just yell "NOW WILL YOU PAY ATTENTION TO ME?!! I'M A MONSTER JUST LIKE YOU!"

Until next episode when he goes all revenge-on-the-vampires. Remember, he put on the magic watch…

Matt is going to be single forever if he's not willing to date someone supernatural. Mystic Falls is so overflowing with paranormals that it's absolutely absurd. Remember when being supernatural was something rare and remarkable on this show?

Perhaps this could be a relative from her mother's side of the family? It would be great to focus on the Flemmings/Petrovas for awhile, especially with the addition of Nadia to the show.

Is she going to end up being related to Dr.McCray Cray (a.k.a. Wes) or Aaron? Plot twist…

This show and magic watches…

A thousand times yes! I couldn't give this enough up votes!

Random thought - how are Elena and Caroline ever going to pass their courses? They've been to one class, and that was on the first day. Have they done any assignments? Mystic Falls High might have been tolerant about their dismal attendance records, but I doubt that a university would feel the same way. And Bonnie

I'm just tired of them brushing over things this season. The PTSD issue was ramping up to be a really big issue (and possibly the re-introduction of Ripper Stefan,) but they resolved it all neatly in less than an episode. What was the point of him having PTSD at all then? The writers this season seem to be throwing in

Sigh. Freaking Katherine. Couldn't she have just said she was losing her teeth/hair and didn't know why? She definitely didn't need to bring up the whole I-used-to-be-a-vampire thing. Especially to Dr. McCray-Cray.

Perhaps he could star in a Breaking Bad/TVD spin-off where he's growing the vervain and trying to sell it? I'd watch that.

Maybe he's the vervain dealer in town? Now THAT would be a plot twist.

Agreed. Their attempts to free Enzo were laughable at best. Also, good point about the vervain.

Elena's reaction to Jesse's death was awful though. I know that she already knew he was dead, but she needs to brush up on her acting skills if she's going to avoid suspicion in these types of situations. She didn't even ask Aaron if he was okay.

Me too. I would have thought that Enzo would have put up a bigger fuss after being held captive for about 15 years or so.
