I watched Lost Highway last night

That reminds me of a video I saw recently. It was a "performance art" piece where this chick opened a can of beans or something and then pissed on the floor. I think there was some menstrual blood involved as well. That audience was silent, too.

But it's THEORETICALLY good, so if we THEORETICALLY watch it we will THEORETICALLY enjoy it! Because it has a few somewhat talented people attached to it!

My gf and I struggled through the first episode. We debated whether it was an awful sitcom or a lame attempt at doing a parody of awful sitcoms, but ultimately agreed that it's just plain awful regardless of what it's trying to do.

Those "Freakanomics" books should should instead be called "Specious Reasoning For Dummies" or "How to Confuse Correlation with Causality".

3D Sugar
Not only can they simply sprinkle some 3D sugar on top to make it a success, they also don't have to worry about the cost of elaborate sets, since most of it will probably be CGI.

I'm starting to enjoy it. I keep reminding myself that Family Guy was pretty bad in it's first season, and The Simpsons wasn't so great its first season either. Character-driven comedy like this usually doesn't get good until at least the second or third season. So I have high hopes for Cleveland.
