It's true, maybe not at first but as the show went on. I heard from a good source that Scott after long days could be hard to deal with.  Lauren was diva-ish and the "star," so that rubbed him the wrong way.  By the end of the run, they would only talk at scene and rehearsal times.

I give you the season Chris won as an example of how Eddie wins this.  He's got about 4 jury votes right now.  dawn has pissed everyone off, so Cochran has a better chance than she does at ths point, but they have both made a lot of enemies, so if either Erik or Eddie make it in the thrid spot over Sherri, they win.

Finally…I was looking for an Alice mention.  Jabberwocky was just so OUT-THERE to my 8 year old self, and the absurdism of Teedledee and Tweedledum or the Walrus and the Carpenter definitely sparked my interest.  It went very well with my parents not minding me watching Monty Python because it was on PBS!
I want to

Between my wife and I we have all the collections (except Yukon, Ho! for some reason) and now they are dispersed over my house in every bathroom and in both my kids' rooms.  I think I am doing alright as a parent if this is what my 7 year old wants to read on the toilet.

OH yeah, the tooth fairy inflation is in line with college tuition inflation - its amazing.  i believe this show is set in California, where my friends have said $5 is the going rate. Also, my friends in the northeast say $5 is normal. In the South, it's not quite that bad, but my daughter was pretty disappointed in

But he is the perfect Gil Thorpe.  I am guessing you do not know many "Gil Thorpe"s in your life, because he nails it.

"Songs to Learn and Sing" is the perfect 45 minute running tape (yes, I said tape, I'm that old.)  The tone shifts match my pace almost perfectly.  I think I'll do that this weekend.

Even before I read to the end of the review, I was thinking - if only PT Anderson got a hold of this story.  It seems like a follow up to Boogie Nights, only set in Miami in the '90's with steroid-freaks and kidnapping.
PTA could have so much material to work with here, it's very disappointing Bay got there first.

Have any of y'all been to Decatur, GA??  Just voted best town square in these United States.
We joke that our official motto is: "We've got a festival for that!"
We have an old courthouse, gazebo and lawn with jazz concerts in certain months, a craft beer festival, easter egg hunt, parades, farmers markets (plural,)

It was a great time for compilations - Standing on the Beach, REM's Eponymous, New Order Substance, and Depeche Mode 101.
Just when I was discovering there was something beyond classic rock radio these were there to serve as a quick intro. It was like a revelation.

Wish is my favorite front-to-back Cure album.  It tells a great story without feeling forced to have a narrative.  I think it edges out Disintegration for the Cure at its best.
Deep Green Sea is on my Top Ten Cure songs, and I love Open/Elise/Friday.

Ummm yeah - I remember my 16 year old self had to do a project on satire.  Anyone could choose Sinclair Lewis, but I chose this song as a perfect example. It's not a rebuttal of Big Yellow Taxi, it's a companion piece.

Yep, that's true (second hand knowledge).  From what I heard, he is a very intense individual, and needed some downtime from the craziness that was the ASP set.

I don't think she did, and if she did, she wasn't a particulary good student, and ya know left at age 16 to have Rory.
Does no one else read the scene as Lorelai being provocative on purpose?

And really, can we ever get enough Kelly Bishop and Edward Hermann?  The scenes with the three generations of Gilmour Girls are some of my favorites.
If the Notes from the network were, "need more Bishop/Hermann" it was definitely the right call.

I really like this song, but it has to be at top volume to enjoy properly.

"Quarterback Princess" was my favorite.
Helen Hunt ruled the after-school specials!

My favorite Alex line was the "*gasp* She KNOWS!!"

I always sing to my girls, "I WANT MORE!!!!"  I know it's not specifically about wanting more stuff, but you can definitely listen to her first stanza and think, 'God, what a selfish entitled princess' when she says the I want more line.  (a la Veruca Salt from Willie Wonka.)

I let my wife take me to a Broadway musical, even knowing my intense dislike for them.  Our friends all agreed we should go to Rent (this is 1995.)  I wanted to leave at intermission, I hated it that much.
