I think I might be spending too much time here, because I was about to make some small talk with my office-mate, which I do periodically, and in trying to come up with a generic issue I nearly said "so did you hear @avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus got banned?"

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus  is not a racist. He may be a liar, a pedophile, a junkie, a communist, a racist, but he is NOT a pornstar!

Let's start with some tough love. Ready for this? Here goes: You suck at peddling comments. Period.

I don't think it's a super strong resemblance, but I am happy to see a Tom Goes to the Mayor reference.

Bahston accent jokes? What the fahk do they take us foah?

I've been slowly rereading Michelle Goldberg's The Means of Reproduction. I guess it's the only book-length treatment I've ever read on reproductive rights, but I can't imagine a better one. It ties together all sorts of stuff - personal stories, mostly of third-world women; the history of birth control in U.S.

I hope Omar R-L can stay put with this project, at least for a while. It's sad The Mars Volta had to break up under acrimonious circumstances, but I also don't really care for their albums after Frances the Mute, which pretty much coincides with a period where he was mired in all sorts of side-projects and

In the last newswire it looks like she ate it.

Nice flow to the newswires today. Begins with a ridiculous story about two of the most ridiculous celebrities of our time, ends with a nice anecdote about two people pretty well-liked around these parts. We've come a long way, folks.

the third one ducks

I hope this is the beginning of a series of articles that feature snippets of some sci-fi story built around Kimye baby jokes, a la the Fred Willard fapping saga.

We appear to be the only ones moved by the idea of a Cowboy Bebop song playing at our funerals.

Probably Gotta Knock a LIttle Harder, which plays at the end of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie.
