Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings put on one of the most impressive shows I've seen in a while when I saw them in September. She's 55 years old but she fucking dominates the stage.

I didn't find anything about Harrison Ford in the Hugo Chavez story. Thanks a lot, Kirk.

And a segment with Geraldo called Token Latino Friend

I'd like to hear what the BBC Latino has to say about this before I make any judgements.

I suspect she's only taking this role for the nookie

We got babies on racks! They … taste of chicken!

It would be my honor
To be your new stepfather

Ah, that brings me back. Whatever happened to that Dave Chapelle?

Giving it to Len Wiseman? That's not very Wise, man!

I don't know anything about Peter Dinklage, and I know very little about the X-men outside the movies. I do however know that "dink" is an ice-fishing term for a small fish that takes up lots of time. In conclusion, this was a highly misguided taking of the piss.

May be too obscure, but they could have him play "The Dinkler," from that weird period in the late 80s where the X-Men did a bunch of crossovers with ice-fishing shows.

In this context, "post-post-9/11" refers to the period of time after R. Pat knew that K. Stew had cheated on him, but before Gangnam Style's 1,235,867,421th view on Youtube.

You're right. I guess it depends on whether you're going for the number of similar words, or syllabic integrity. I tried to think of a pickled-ish word that means "measured".

Thus the origin of the tongue-twister, Chubby Checker nixed an app that measured peckers

Kirk has taught us well

I've never seen this show, but based on the photo I'm going to assume it's about a slacker league bowler (Will Arnett) and his long-suffering girlfriend (Maya Rudolph) as he strives for a perfect 300 game while trying to hold in his farts every week.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's just, I dunno, I thought you'd want to talk about partial differential equations.

I've never understood it as a denomination. I thought it was just a broad term for a type of Christian who stresses the "personal relationship" with Jesus (e.g. this matters more than any hierarchy) and who is animated to share their faith with others to some degree.

"Evangelical" applies to a pretty broad swath of Christians. My parents both identify as evangelical, although they're both politically moderate and accept modern science (my dad has a masters in biology, so he'd better). They believe in a "second coming" of some kind, but they don't pretend to know the details of it,

Are you testing us, O Lord? These are all questions to which you should know the answer.
