Man what a rotten thing to do on MTV's part.
That title picture is so perfect.
I still can't get over how how this movie's in 3D. It's pretty funny.
"He gave us his magic and then disappeared, just like toad the wet sprocket". Pretty much sums up how amazing this episode is. From Expresso Tina to the downright twisted situation of Bob rooting against Gene so he could (probably not) get his money back.

Well to be fair, it started out very Family Guy-esque in how it did a lot of things but over time it sort of found it's own way of doing things.
I know about subplots, but it felt really grating when I first watched this a week ago and I think it's because they were three plots that felt like they were meant for their own episode in terms of their weight. Usually, especially in a 20 minute to half an hour format where you only have so much time, subplots…
Thinking about it a bit, maybe it was because they were all under the same roof so to speak. They were all within the same overarching plot of going to the museum.
The Simpsons episode had three different things going on at once and nothing felt resolved.
Holy crap this episode was like, three different episodes smashed together into one. We had the thing with Moe and the others, the thing with Bart and Gramps, and then Lisa and the hologram of Bleeding Gums Murphy.
I hate to admit it but that's kind of the vibe I've been getting lately too.
I generally liked this film but my one big problem is I felt the way they dropped the subplot about Starks' trauma from the New York incident was a bit awkwardly sudden for something that seemed like such a major plot point.
just have to say it.
Haven't seen the movie, don't plan to, not a fan of the old cartoons, but my god do these characters creep the hell out of me by looks alone.
