I'm not so much into superhero things at all (though maybe I might be if it weren't for all the punching), but over the course of my life I've been struck by the lack of diversity in certain aspects of porn. You can find pretty much any outfit or prop or position or act you want, but when it comes to context or

"A late night question: do you have a fetish or sexual interest that you are embarrassed or confused by?"

Fair enough! But I'm willing to give this cat the benefit of the doubt. And I'm not even really trying to reason them out of anything - I just want to understand the premises, and where they come from.

Coming in really late here, but I am interested in comments such as these, and would like to learn more. To start, it sounds like you are saying that "sex" and "gender" are the same thing, and that those who say that they describe different aspects of reality are wrong. Do I have that correct?

Well, yeah. I mean, talking with everybody else it seems like my responses in these situations are not representative. I don't hate people and I don't hate talking to them, of course. What I don't like it people trying to start conversations with me with no appropriate context or prompting. That's why advice like

First off, yes, remember that she is a person.

One hundred percent!

I'm so glad to hear other people saying this. I respect the hell out of Kathleen Hanna for many reasons, but I just could never get into the Bikini Kill albums (or those of her other bands).

One Beat is great - I think it's got their best opening track, if nothing else. And for idiosyncratic reasons, "Prisstina" is a personal favorite of me and my wife.

I mean, it's got some songs on it that aren't my favorites - "You're No Rock and Roll Fun", "Milkshake n' Honey" - but then it also has "Youth Decay" and "Ironclad", which are fantastic. More generally, I doubt that it's many people's favorite S-K record, but I also think that most fans find some things to love in

Yup - it's an easy choice. Just like the first season of MST3K is the worst, but only given the brilliance that came after it.

Goddam classic, but then again, isn't that true for nearly all SK albums? Seriously like one of my top three favorite bands of all time.

Well, given that the cloaca is the only…aperture for mating in species that have a cloaca, I'm thinking that the vast majority of them were indeed into cloacal.

I'm with you on the raptors, but the name T. rex has a long history in popular culture. It's also the only species whose popular name also matches the way scientists often talk about organisms - first letter of the genus, and then the full name of the species.

Those are the modern analogs the folks look at for the tail issue (bird tails are just too highly-modified to serve as a good proxy). And both those groups do okay.

I almost did my Ph.D. thesis on this very topic! It's a tough problem - as you said, functionally it makes no sense to have complex grinding dentition, where food would be worked around all sides of the teeth, but no cheeks. The hadrosaurs are a good example, but I was more interested in the weird sauropods like Nige

I do indeed have that, and even a little bit of experience with paleo. Your intuition is entirely correct - if the fossils share a feature with living close relatives (in the case of dinosaurs, that'd be crocodilians and birds), and a nerve passes through that feature in the living species, then it's a reasonable

Cloaca.

Can't be into anal if you don't have an anus! But for your second question: yes. To both parts, yes.
