I've always found him a little annoying, but can see how someone would defend him, until Avengers v. X-men, when he turned into David Koresh.

In the words of Jim Gaffigan - "Well, McDonald's wouldn't want you because you're a dick."

Kitty is the best. Colossus is pretty cool. Storm always seems to be on the right side.

I definitely see your point. It marginalized female characters and degrades the experiences of rape victims to use it as a narrative tool for a male character. It turns it into a Steven segal movie.

I think rape of slaves was frequent and part of what was horrible about the lives of slaves. Leaving it out would have been more telling.

Off the top of my head I would say love in vain

"Blatantly wrong?"

In her defense, this movie has been on the shelf for over a year. I saw ads for it in July 2015. I'm assuming this was one of her first movies and that she can move forward from this. It probably sounded great on paper.

It's traditional when there are not female actors for parts. One can argue that it is sexist that there aren't enough female performers, but transphobia seems a stretch. In this case, there are only of two of them, and I think Carrie has also dressed as a man, when the need arises.

They also double parked.

You said you didn't know why rape kits were not being tested. I suggested that it may be because the police didn't think it was a good case. You said DNA makes it a good case. I gave an example of when DNA doesn't make it a good case and elaborated that DNA doesn't affect any rape case where the defendant claims

That is certainly possible.

I answered a specific question by you with an example. I never said it was most or all of those cases. I said it was "some" of the cases I had seen.

I couldn't honestly tell you what the percentages are. It's about half of the cases we are defending right now, but that is a small sample size. In fairness, some of the cases are also prostitutes that were raped. Police may have thought it was a shitty case because prostitutes are not given the benefit of the doubt

Certainly victims of any crime are put in a difficult position and are often reluctant to testify at trial or even come forward. Being robbed can be traumatizing. If you got robbed while trying to solicit a prostitute or buy drugs, you are unlikely to report it and may be treated with scorn when you do. That doesn't

I'm a criminal defense attorney. I know a lot about the legal system. I'm not a rape apologist, but I am in favor of Constitutional protections and against the erosion of those protections even if it is done for a good reason. I'm sorry if you were the victim of a crime and hope the legal system worked to bring

Murder doesn't have a statute of limitations

Some of the ones I have seen were prostitutes who had consensual sex with someone and either didn't get paid or got confronted by police and didn't want to go to jail for prostitution. Police or DAs read the facts and know what it is. DNA doesn't change the facts if the defense is consent.
