And then you'll tell us that we pay too much attention to Patton Oswalt, though somewhere lurking in your brain you'll realize that we pay him so much attention because he writes smart stuff like this, and in doing so makes us all smarter. And makes us laugh at the same time.

Love that Bret is writing songs again (and that he won a goddamn Oscar!), but it would be a double dose of awesome if both Conchords had a cameo. Even better, give Murray a cameo!

Could not disagree more. Girls features people who are all assholes and one dimensional. This move actually had, ya know, characters, not caricatures.

Man, that was great. It felt very "real" and unlike, say, Girls, it portrayed people my age in a way that expresses the way we think/feel/whatever, rather than make us look like spoiled assholes.

I'd hoped The Trip would've done that…sadly, very under appreciated :(

I agree, sadly. I walked out of the first installment and thought Nope, not gonna sit through two more of those. Very, very rare I got out of my way to not see a film, especially one as big as this, but I just can't do it.
