Apparently, Jim Rash wrote one of the upcoming episodes. Looking forward to that.

Apparently, it was written by a returning writer who admits that he was trying too hard and did too many plots.

What amuses me greatly is that I sent a letter to Moses Port as soon as this was announced and I apparently may have been the one to tell him about the story wheel… and I had the correct answer to all of the writers' litmus tests handy. :-)

Yeah. Upon second viewing, I can easily see where they can recast with Willard simply by giving Abed motivation to "reimagine" Pierce.

Two things. First of all, the shaky cam shots are always a cue that the characters don't know they're being filmed. The crew frequently filmed characters without their knowledge, such as with Angela and the hitman.

I think a dramatic turn is possible, though. I fully expect they'll try to crank out some tearjerker moments at the end.

I'm hoping they swerve, disturbingly hard. Jim has cancer and dies. Pam and Brian part ways but get together a year later. The finale can be the film crew going through their footage of Jim for a retrospective, which enables the team to bring back Michael Scott without going back on his happy ending because Michael is

Weiner stated before (and I think he was serious) that Don is alive in the 1980s, is an old man who dresses the same way, and is one of Reagan's handlers. Might have been a joke but I took that idea rather seriously.

Actually, I think Community should end with Abed waking up next to Bob Newhart. Wrong sitcom to end that way.:-)

There needs to be an excuse that gets the Captain and Robin Sr. together at the wedding. And then Robin Sr. needs to show the Captain the golf clubs in the back of his convertible.

Why would it be so impossible that you might have conditions that could affect as much as 20% of the population?

I thought it was stated he meets her at that moment at the railway station after dark.

The only way I could see them working in the sister (and this is awful on some level) is if Lily leaves Marshall, Marshall hooks up with Ted's sister (who wants to be a mom to Marvin, maybe?) and Lily runs off to become an artist and marries Scooter, sticking Marshall with primary custody of the kids.

Cool band name.

If there is a Season 9, I think it will be Ted dating the mother and building a life with her through a series of flash forwards that ends in 2030, allowing them to play off the slap bet, the exploding meatball sub, the high school reunion, Robin living in other countries, and Marshall saving the world.

They indicated they may come back for 10 episodes or so next year. I think they're debating whether to do a short season showing the courtship and building up to Ted's wedding while covering what prompted him to tell his kids this story.
