See, I love fans. And I love geeks. And I just love people who aren't afraid to *like* stuff.

Depends on which Superman. Pre-Crisis could take on the Borg singlehandedly. (Actually, I'd love to see that fight.)

@avclub-ac49e4061fbc0c9be62351a6bd5e5c23:disqus I totally agree, and frankly, I'd like to see more shows with that sort of society - one you'd actually *want* to see become a reality. Drama needs positive examples as well as negative ones, after all, and for groups as much as individuals.

@linehollis:disqus Magnificently put. I agree; mistakes, and the finding thereof, are not something to become paranoid or even worried about, unless they're the level of mistake that actually messes up a narrative.

The Illiad was like Crisis on Infinite Earths, but the *original* Greek hero teamup was the search for the Golden Fleece.
Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad > all.
There are a lot of SG1 episodes that are basically TOS episodes done with a modern sensibility. The one where the intelligence of supergenius kids is uploaded into all the adults (or somesuch) comes to mind.
I don't know; there seem to have been a number of famous performers who felt the same way, if biopics are any indication.
