I happened across the not-as-legendary-as-it-should-be "Comedy Death Ray" double album on an Amazon mp3 album sale in the winter of 2011/2012 for like 4 bucks … David Cross, PFT, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford doing 10-15 minute sets? Heck yeah.

When I was a kid, Pullman did seem kinda dull in the role, like he lacked the charisma to be lead in a movie,. But now I find him to be charming in the role, in a casual way that I think holds the movie together pretty well.

ASP TO MEET YOU

Give us hell, Microsoft!

As someone who works as a contractor, I'm really disturbed by the possibility that this guy is somewhat normalizing the previously anathema concept of it being okay to not pay someone who's done a job that both parties have contractually agreed upon. And I can't imagine any small businesses or real entrepreneurs would

Can you imagine if that crazy dude who plays Frank started getting cast in movies?

Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 5 long-running plots that were resolved last season, without even really thinking very hard about it. I mean, they may not have been resolved to your satisfaction, but that's a different argument.

Yikes. I guess that does explain the general air of boot-licking incompetence, though.

As I understand it, he only stiffs contractors who don't have the resources or connections to mount any meaningful legal challenge. His lawyers on the other hand are probably on retainer and paid quite well (as are, presumably, his financial advisors, or whomever arranges his loophole-laden tax returns).

So basically a House subcommittee hearing?

"disgusted by the downmarket, chandelier-free lodgings" isn't just a brilliantly snarky turn of phrase, it's also certainly 100% accurate.

He's hunting Ted Nugent.

It's a cool, non-preachy way to say "don't drink more than you need to, dipshits." Which is an important message to Americans, who generally don't know when to fucking quit.

OK, so, I respect you and your history of commentary here. But do you really think that otherwise noxious GOP politicians should get a pass because they pretend to be offended by Trump, yet are basically still on his side? And isn't Trump just basically offering a more honest version of the bigoted, bullshit ideas

If he's a Republican, he's a goose-steppin' boot licker who is happily fucking over the future of our planet. Sorry, my Republican sympathizing friend.

And how!

OK, so the headline of this article led me to believe I was going to be able to read some official statement from HBO … Instead I get 4 tweets from some goose-stepping, boot-licking Nebraska GOPer whom I'd prefer to ignore. Joke's on me I guess?

Apology accepted!

God Emperor of Dune is actually my favorite, short of the first one, of course. It's pretty insane in a way that I found appealing, and has some interesting philosophical themes. Children of Dune was quite good too; all the other sequels were misfires imo.

I like it a lot too, though I admit I had a couple of false starts before it actually clicked for me.
