"Our Mother the Mountain" is probably my favourite TVZ album. It's like a Cormac McCarthy novel in song, or something.

The most obnoxious part about Clement's version is the arrhythmic drums. Once you notice, it's hard to un-notice. (Thanks asshole, who wrote the TVZ bio!)

I don't care what anyone says…
I really like The Big Chill.

Canadian fiction shows are by and large shit (with some of the shows already mentioned as well as kids shows (Todays Special!, Mr. Dressup) and randoms like The Newsroom being exceptions), but I will not have a cross word said against our non-fiction fare. From 'The Nature of Things' to 'the fifth estate' to 'The

I also thought this was a big screen adaptation of 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' :(

Three words: Walton Motherfucking Goggins.

Somebody buy him an ice cream cone, RIGHT NOW!

Oh, how I hope he's at the zoo. Just sitting there looking at the giraffes. Swinging his little feet under the bench.

I think Neon Bible is the best. Like, by far.

People like things that they think are good. Who'd a thunk it?

Man, he sure said 'cum' a lot.

Great, now I forget where I live.

The comments on that Wall Street Journal article are hilarious…

The last season of Northern Exposure was last-season-of-Roseanne level bad. Okay, maybe not quite that bad, but bad.

Just to expand and clarify (after having a cigarette), my ultimate problem with the ending is that COBB WILL KNOW, but we will not know. That is a choice made for the benefit of the audience, not for the benefit of the story.

my two cents on the ending
I like ambiguous endings, and I liked the ending of this… to a certain extent. I DO NOT need them to explain if he was in a dream or not, HOWEVER, I think the way that they went about being ambiguous felt false. Either the top falls, or it doesn't. There is an ultimate truth there; it

Yep, Sammo Hung, himself.

May you forever be covered in DEAD MAN'S CUM.
