god why do i find her attractive why why why

Watched FROZEN and really enjoyed it. Its Disney so there were a few too many songs for me but the animation was gorgeous and the girl power stuff felt important. The lack of a strong villain was felt though.

i agree. most of the time people who give these "truth bombs" aren't giving truth at all. they are just assholes that no one likes.

totally agree.

I don't really care too much but they need to get this straightened out…. it seems different for different bands…

Yep noticed it. Hated it.

Somewhere Kirk Cameron is smiling (as he burns another copy of The Origin of Species)… oh and he'll be calling soon

one word: Zelig

I agree - the Oscars are a mainstream awards show and in that respect I love them dearly. Yes they make mistakes - big ones but they nominate and award some great shit too

hey i like Going My Way - Bing is fun as hell to watch

And it's aged terribly

Astaire, although technically not a great singer has such ease with a song that makes his version's really charming and irresistible. Having said that, my favorite version of this song is still Sinatra's….

Crash
Dances with Wolves
Braveheart (really?)
Ordinary People
The Artist
How Green was my Valley (Obvious)

Saw Inside Llewyn Davis: I was really floored. The cinematography was stunning, the music was beautiful (no surprise there) and the Coen's harsh, Job-like punishment of their protagonist felt believable and painful. I really connected with this movie. It should have gotten more Oscar nominations. (Oh and loved the cat

A little off topic but I guess I'm the only one who liked Working on a Dream. I thought it was a good attempt at a 60's/Phil Spector/Beach Boys/Pop Record

he certainly looks like him but imagine how old Sinatra must have been at the time of conception. Now I love Frank but….

Jesus I'm sick of Mia Farrow and her son. I've read both sides and the evidence is sketchy at best. Woody's affair with Soon-Yi was a creep move but there is no hard evidence that he molested anyone. And didn't Mia's brother just get arrested for something similar? What's really going on here?

oh you're startin something

Its strange that this song doesn't do as well in syndication. i wonder if it is because it rarely goes for the big laugh and focuses more on characterization

Jerry Lewis really wanted to be Chaplin - funny and serious but he could never pull it off. Think about it Chaplin could do 1 AM and The Kid, the boxing scene from City Lights and take on Hitler. Lewis had a lit of talents but Chaplin was in a league of his own. (But then a lot of people had Chaplin envy….starting
