This could have been an interesting movie. Although sanitizing the story is really dumb. And I agree the Brian movie will be better anyway - and that won't be sanitized we get Dr. Landy!

This is a horrible gateway. He needs a primer. The breadth of his work is staggering. Just for starters: The concept albums of the 50's (nearly all of his Capital albums are masterpieces)

I spent Friday night going crazy watching a deluge of things on the Kennedy brothers: a documentary on the assassination (I am NOT a conspiracy guy), a documentary on RFK's life from PBS and then a 3 hour doc on LBJ. All of which were great!

Seriously I hate this guy. Can't stand him. If you don't like your fans or can't or won't deal with hecklers then  why perform - he always acts like a little baby brat. Other comedians just shut hecklers down - they are effective and hilarious are it. Chapelle just doesn't seem like he wants to do this anymore.…

I agree. I am on my third novel and I have a crappy full time job. And you're right they want the reward with no risk. I would love to be paid to write but 1) nobody buys literary fiction and 2) that's not how the world works for most people. Havign said that I am not against kickstarter. Pynchon is tough for me. I love the writing - I admire his technique but i find it such a slog to get all the way through any of his books. I got through Crying (obviously its short) and Vineland (yes I know its terrible) but I start and stop the others. I find his humor horrible and I think his conspiracy leftist…

I adored Clash of the titans as a kid. And although it looks "dated" and "fakey" it still has a weight and presence that CGI does not

I really liked this episode. The merger we all saw coming and yes it was a way to bring Peggy back but they have been hinting at this for a while - talking about how hard it is for the little agencis to compete so I was okay with it.

this really went from being an endearing and very funny show to a tired, unfunny show that isn't remotely realistic and that deals in boring old sitcom tropes…. so sad… makes you appreciate what Seinfeld and Cheers did for so many seasons.

couldn't agree more. I love love love the show but the last few seasons haven't been quite as good. i loved season 3 so much. hard to top.

1) two from Cheers - when Diane left "Have a nice life" and cut to them dancing as old people - the future they will never have as "What'll I Do?" by Irving Berlin Plays" and the finale "I'm the luckiest Son of a bitch in the world" (Sam as fully realized?)

everything after- michael's last season, will ferrel, andy as boss and everything else has been just plain BAD
