That was me! I'll probably get into the habit again next week, this week's selections didn't seem to be as shouty as what I usually watch, much as I loved Leon Morin.

Man, I've been so happy about being Canadian this week.

I think I'm the only person here that hasn't gotten all obsessed with Breaking Bad. Only watched the first season. Maybe I'll give it a go one day.

What's missing? And how would you know?

You would think suggesting people exercise in drop crotch pants would be her doom, but nope.

I watched these things.
Leon Morin, Priest - Jean-Pierre Melville can do no wrong, or at least do very little wrong (still have a few of his films I haven't seen). It's about religion, but it's actually about people, and it was amazing how complete those people were. Not like the other Melville films I've seen, but I

That's a rule so specific I wonder about the fights Deuteronomy got into.

The A.V. Club
I just can't pass up a good fap

That sounds oddly erotic.

The only stereotype about gay people I harbor is that I'm pretty sure they're all afraid of spiders.

I remember in university TCM did a Miyazaki week, and aired all of his movies up to that point, both dubbed and subbed depending on when you watched.

As much as I joke about the joys of angry Russian Janeway, I started watching it only because the friends I was staying with decided to start, and I haven't continued past the fourth episode and have no real desire to.

TCM was the only channel that it hurt to cut when I got rid of cable.

The weirdest example of cable channel atrophy has to be APTN in Canada. It stands for Aboriginal People's Television, their original goal was to air shows that had an aboriginal element, whether it's the actors, the issues they talk about, or whatever.

Isn't it TNT that knows drama?

Sluggo is Lobsters? Weird.

This sounds like an employee recruitment video that accidentally got theatrical release.

Oh it's not that ba

Younger George RR Martin. Lots of people gain weight as they age though.
