That really threw me off as well. How did he know the route to the safe house? Does he have another mole (not Gus)?

Pitt is best as a character actor and not a lead. Also try Killing Them Softly, where he is not Brad Pitt.

Friday: Dredd. I actually liked it. It was better than the Stallone one for sure. The director really had fun with showing the effects of the slow mo drug. I do wish they hadnt used so much CGI blood, you can tell its fake.
Sat: College football!
Sun: King of Comedy. Somehow I had never seen this. But I really liked

No but he was in Hedwig and the Angry Inch which bumps him up a couple of notches in my book.

Party foul Cooper, party foul. And here I was just beginning to like you.  I was glad to see that Daniel didnt die, just had a seizure. Im really starting to like his asshole character. The scene with Adriana and her mother was fantastic, but heartbreaking as she says she prays every night for her to change and get a

Not could, should.

This really was something I quite liked.  It may well be Pacino's last film that he gave a shit about being good in and he was really good in it. Williams was a good creep here, like Pacino toning his shit way down. And Martin Donnovan is always good when he pops up; even in junk like Weeds or Boss.

I enjoyed him on the United States of Tara.

Fuck him! Baldwin took him to fucking acting school!

That got me too; and its not like LWS is an overly complicated show.

Friday: The Fellowship of the Ring extended version. I really do love this extended version. Everything gets a little fleshed out and actually helps with the pacing a bit.
Sunday: Edge of Seventeen, based on recommendation of a Watch This from a couple of weeks ago. Parts of it are really great and parts felt a little

My dog does that every fucking time he sees a dog on tv or hears one bark on TV. He will run up to the tv and start barking at it.

The bloody eye was from being choked by the guy he killed.

Plus he's killing a cop, that is not the best way to get the heat off of your back.

He spent much of the Elysium review bitching about not liking District 9. (Full disclosure: I really liked Elysium and totally disagreed with his assessment of both films.) Let a film stand on its own merits, if you dont like a movie say why, dont spend the review talking about why you didnt like the previous film.

Jeffery Jones in Deadwood (and just about anything he was in). His A.W. was such a great, funny character: Why did you strike me?? But the guy is a pedophile and registered sex offender which is unforgivable. I still enjoy his old performances but that thought is always in the back of my mind.

Its one of the most complete war films out there and its great. It also has one of the best Cruise performances. It covers the before, the during and the after of Cruises war experience going from gun ho to combat to the hard aftermath of being a wounded veteran to disillusionment with the cause.

Auto Focus is about a man whose compulsions lead him to ruin, that by nature is a repetitive story. He is a man who cannot stop doing the things that are ruining his life, mostly because he doesnt think that they are bad or out of the norm. Or how does his best film fit into this? That would be Affliction. I didnt

I liked this episode. I found Galvan to be a fascinating character with his quietly menacing demeanor, especially with the female cartel boss. Frye is an entertaining asshole as well, motherfucker just pisses off everyone he meets.

I did as well. The first half was just as good as the first season. I cant believe how fast everyone, here especially, jumped off the bandwagon for this show.
