It was a clear step down in quality from the superb season 4. O'Hara leaving the show didn't help matters either.

The sopranos and deadwood tie for my favorite but hannibals deserves a shout out. Quick and creepy but also has the great liquid head thing. Plus the music is perfect for it.
Dexter and weeds were two shows that I watched all the way through till the final season, both of which were abominations, when I stopped and only watched the finales because I heard how terrible and batshit crazy they were.
Say what you will about this messy and unfocused season it did achieve something remarkable: it had no true protagonist or antagonist. The first four or so eps it looked like it would be Zoe but they got bored and dropped her. Delia spent large portions of the season on the sidelines. Marie was presented as an…
Something else , at least in the shows batshit logic. They had to travel to hell and come back on their own.
D+
1. Breaking Bad
2. Hannibal
3. The Americans
4. Adventure Time
5. The Bridge
You might find yourself surprised. I told my mom first, because of course I did, who told my dad. My dad was the one I was worried about knowing, and he was like: already knew, no big deal. My brother knew as well. Best of luck to you.
I'll defend their version of Sleepy Hollow, which is great. The visuals and performances are really good.
Spring Breakers flat out belongs on this list. So strange and hypnotic and beautifully shot. I also really liked the Place Beyond the Pines, especially its fantastic first and really good third but its middle might have caused it to not be included in this list. Blue is the Warmest Color was the best movie I saw all…
Sat: The new hobbit. I really liked this one. I know Im in the minority here in actually liking the first one but this new one is so much better. The pace is much quicker and has some fantastic action sequences. The river barrel scene, one of the scenes from the book I most looked forward to seeing recreated, is the…
No he does not. He's often the best part of anything he is in. I loved him as Colin Powell in W even though the rest of that movie is mediocre at best.
Not only that, the last one made him mopey and depressed about it. God, Superman Returns was terrible.
I always thought this was solid, not nearly as good as the original though. Its a shame they didnt mention Jeffrey Wright though as he is great here.
I made the same mistake when I first read the question and then later noticed the part about controlling the sex. He is an asshole who needs to be dumped.
I think its just become a lie agreed upon. The US says he was the bomber and he is going good PR work for Iran so they will roll with him claiming to be the bomber.
A-
These last two episodes have really turned this season around. I mean there is still some stupid left: Carrie blowing yet another operation due to her bullheadedness. But I agree with Todd, if the show can somehow re calibrate itself to be mostly about spy ops it can be really good and leave the melodrama out of the…
Almost all of the prime time games this year have been fucking garbage, outside of Sunday Night Football. Is it just me or are the Thursday night NFL games near unwatchable? Their quality is always low. Which sucks because the Thursday night College football games are usually pretty good.
I really liked it too, except for Holly Hunter's character. Everything else was great and then she'd show up to spit out some nonsensical musings. But I did like the other women in her odd little community.
