Minority Gang!
Asian guy, check!
Black guy, check!
Hispanic guy, check!
Indian guy, check!
Bitchy minority gang girlfriends, check!
White guy, nope!

That, and Lost Highway is still one of my favorites from him. Reminds me, I need to rewatch "Inland Empire."

I really liked 2046, but maybe it's cause I haven't gotten around to "In the Mood for Love." Still, it was SLOOOOOW. Granted, I'm saying this on a thread about Lost Highway, but I stand by my comment.

Man…fuck this movie.
In the nicest possible way, of course. It was that clip (THE clip), aired on some random MTV news program with Kurt Loder, that inspired me to hunt that film down in theatres. Ever since then, it's been a long, strange ride with Mr. Lynch. Not that I regret it, but it's cause quite a heated

I dunno about Suffocation. I saw them live with Morbid Angel, Premonitions of War and Satyricon (went for them, and Trym was playing with, but they only played five songs; fuckers), and they were technically accomplished, but only ok. I'll admit, I usually enjoy a band much more if I'm at least somewhat familiar

You'll never have me.

That's right! I completely forgot about that one. Must be that the NES version, which was a singularity of awful, obliterated my memories of the others.

Which was the…you bastard.

The documentary is "Heavy Metal in Baghdad." The band is Acrassicauda. And "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" had that interview with Gaahl, who I find scary as fuck. Gorgoroth is pretty damn good, but fuck, those guys take themselves seriously. Guess you would too if you lived like Gaahl.

It was one of my gateways to the heavier stuff, but pretty reminiscent of Death Metal, so try the self-titled by Hypocrisy, and The Final Chapter, or Abducted. Not really Kill 'Em All, but it's worth a shot.

Nathan! You asshole!
SPOILER!

I know the Zune software has a search feature for Podcasts. Otherwise, you may be forced to download it week by week here at the site. Just don't install that horrible bloatware itunes onto your machine. I mean, unless you own a Mac. Itunes runs fine on those, but on a Windows machine, it's horrible.

I was curious, since I didn't see a review…
…but how's the new Placebo?

No love for Burgess? That guy's been carrying the torch.

Did anybody else notice that when Ricky goes into the Warden's (or that dude with the glass eye) office, the wall behind is stacked with pr0n tapes? Just another wonderful gem in a movie littered with them.

Adult Swim
Isn't the Adult Swim show "SuperJail" basically like an animated, ultraviolent version of Where's Waldo? Why a movie? I mean, no complaints, really (it's gotta be better than Bazooka Joe), but no live action, please.

Reviews!
You guys gonna have one up of the new Eels album? My purchase is basically riding on your word.

Kicked ass. Loved it in high school, and my appreciation has only grown since.

Wrong, Lady Uranus. Top prize for worst prose in a best-selling series has to be, by far, for the Left Behind books. It's one of those "60 million people can't be wrong, can they?" sort of things. Yes they were wrong, and wrong in a way that only walking in on your grandparents fucking will start to erase. I made

I don't know what y'all are talking about.
It isn't much of a secret that Crist is a closet homo. His impromptu marriage was a punchline of the local weekly rags for weeks on end.
