Trudy has always known that Pete is cheating on her. She explains that when she talks about the apartment. You also see her turn to Pete when you hear the husband tell him the wife is his problem now and you see Pete's reaction of "I didn't do anything, I have no idea why my name is being dragged into this"—which of

Well, Peggy is about to F Stan professionally so let's see how that goes first.

Watched it for you with closed caption, all he says is "Bob," no bum, sorry hahaha

Totally agree that Don and Roger are completely different types of womanizers and much of it has to do with their background and personalities.

What's with main characters directing? Aren't there enough non-actors vying for director positions? I wish people would stop thinking they're all-doing Renaissance men.

    180?

I was pretty confused by the conversation Don and Megan had/talked about having/didn't have(???). She tells him about the miscarriage and she mentions that she didn't know if they should have THAT conversation and he answers by being agreeable and asking her if that's what she wants and she says yes, that they should

I don't know, but Don's even hating on her by telling the doctor, in the elevator, that she doesn't make very much money.

Please don't mention Alexis Bledel. After seeing Alison Brie's consistently fine acting tonight I can't bear to think back on the time Bledel was on the show. *Shudder* She's a cute woman but my goodness how can someone who can't act have so many opportunities?! She has 4 projects listed in post-production on IMDB

In that same scene where she's drinking alcohol I suddenly thought, "wow, her head looks so small since it's immediately contrasted by her large chest".  One of those stray, unprofessional observations.

    1) "Deftest self-immolation". Don and Roger at their finest.
    2) The line about dancing with the one you brought, oh the irony of hearing Don say that. He always makes sure to dance with whoever the heck he wants in his personal life.
    3)  For most of the episode I was thinking that no good has ever come out of a man

True, but 1) Berlin isn't Paris, they don't mind walking the fashion edge of tacky and 2) that's not the only thing Michelle's criticized that the judges actually liked. She thought the pink Daniel used on a dress was awful, that no younger woman would wear that. The judges and the Lord & Taylor lady loved it and so

hahaha, isn't it awful when everyone doesn't think pink is great!! I actually did feel touched when Patricia couldn't hold back the gasp at elimination in the previous episode. But for whatever reason in this particular episode I just wasn't sympathetic to her tears and I was to Daniel's. He's definitely cried a lot

If Patricia wants to sell clothing she needs to pair up with someone else who knows shapes. She can be the creative one, they will be the one that makes it palatable to the masses. Although, I do have to giver her credit for the one dress she made of beige squares with gray corners, all sewn together.

Legend's comment that even if it's totally out their art that no one would wear it still has to look beautiful on the runway was insightful.

Oddly I thought it was sweet when Daniel cried (and he cried a lot!) but when Patricia cried I was annoyed. Maybe it's because he's always crying because he's succeeding and she's always crying because she's afraid or relieved about not failing. Positive v. negative focus.

I found it odd that Michelle was attracted to the fabric BECAUSE it looked like diarrhea and then chose to showcase the other side. Obviously though it was the right way to go. That's one of those items that say "reversible" and you think "Score, two outfits in one!" and then you turn it around to see the other side

    1) John Legend was an excellent choice for a guest judge. He's always dressed well and consistently seems to have an interest in fashion. His insight on the show was excellent. Some previous guest judges have really left me scratching my head (e.g Debra Messing, Emmy Rossum, Apolo Ohno—they're all interesting people

lol I would be 100% okay with this song playing every time Juliette comes on screen.

Aww, sorry! I agree, the post-watching discussions on AV Club really make the show more enjoyable.
