I totally agree with you about the lame idea. It was one of the few times where I didn't think the ad was brilliant at all. Even Don's suicide ad was more awe inspiring.

hehehe I did a double take myself when I wrote it. Didn't know the best way to phrase it but I figured you guys would get the gist.

The first few episodes were the best, the songs were amazing. That's really what drew me in initially (the Gunnar/Scarlett duos in the beginning were amazing). Now though, there are fewer and fewer songs and more odd drama.

Hmm you're probably right, I'm sure I tuned out on some of that. Still, though Rayna wasn't cheating THEN she can't have been too self righteous about that given that she did cheat before and their first kid is actually Deacon's. Meh, I don't know why I'm speculating how Teddy would react anyway since the writers will

Yeah my reaction to Teddy finding out about Peggy leaking the information was, "so?" Sure he may be a little annoyed with her because that caused his daughters some heartache but, like you said, he was already over the marriage and he had been having the affair with Peggy for a long time. It's not like she said

Definitely agree that many aspects are now plot driven, not character driven. Dante's character 2 episodes ago was that of a guy who was grounded, level-headed, helpful. He called Juliette on her BS in terms of how she handled her mom. The Dante this episode encourages Juliette to treat her band like nothing because

It's funny that a man who feels like he never owes anyone an explanation (Oh tell us about how you came to be part of a wedding! *click, next slide*) tells Roger he had a stomach bug when he clearly had the only drink in hand in the room.

Yeah my point isn't that he has diarrhea and that's not allowed because people should be perfect. Rather, it's that Peggy seemed to have wanted to get married. He didn't want to propose and she liked him so she sort of talked herself into thinking living with him was actually what she wanted. Now she gets a glimpse

haha yeah I think it's kind of both. She looks at him and what he's doing is endearing to her. Both in the fact that it's him and that he's rocking out in a silly way. I can't imagine her doing that with many of the guys at SCDP, she'd just tell them they were acting like an idiot and that they should get to work.

Well that certainly clarifies things a bit. It's been so long I didn't remember whose name exactly was on that firm's door. Still, while Don is the main focus of this series it would be nice if they showed a little more action at Peggy's firm so we'd understand the dynamic and significance of her career climb. I

Yeah I didn't think her liking him after the diarrhea was her settling, I actually thought it showed that she really cared for him and that wasn't a big deal to her. However, the diarrhea scene shows that here she is dealing with a downside of being so close to someone while still not having the upside of being able

I see what you're saying about Juliette changing very slowly being realistic, but given how unrealistic this show is (see 1st point in above post) they could have made her less annoying. It's all just so inconsistent. Teddy is totally under his father-in-law's control until he's mayor and grows a pair overnight and

I think Don's type is: will it mess up or complicate my life a bit if I sleep with her? Yes? Then I'm in!

I'm not sure Betty is too bothered by Sally's actions. She's the kind of parent who sees her role as a disciplinarian, she's not out to be her child's friend (just her child's friend's friend haha). Sally cuts her hair? Slap her for doing it. Sally masturbates? Tell her you'll cut her fingers off. Bobby tells you he

Given all the airtime we've had of Don could anyone legitimately ever think Betty was seriously the problem that caused his constant infidelity? Don can do f*cked up all by himself thank you very much. Betty filled in the wife slot, now it's Megan's turn but Don will always be Don. If anyone thought having Megan

I'm still trying to figure out where Peggy stands. Her boss seems like a manager—little talent, trying to always please the client. Actually, he's a lot like Pete at pitch meetings except Pete has some talent (though these days he's mostly relying on Don being the show pony and himself being the ring master at

Betty dropped her modeling ambitions to satisfy the marriage. That didn't work out too well either. Don is Don, what the woman he's currently married to does is of little importance. If it's great he'll find a way to sabotage it.

Fantastic front view, and they made great use of it in several shots. Disappointing back view, New Year's scene shows there's nothing there.

It's funny that he's so whiny about his own situation in his mind. If some underling had his life and expressed discontent he'd tell them to STFU and stop whining. He has it pretty great and yet he's always at odds with the situation and subconsciously trying to make it bad. He searches for deeper meanings of life and

I want to know if Pete is still somehow having the affair with his now real life fiancee. Hope not though, Alexis Bledel is a really bad actress. I like her, I do, but she is really quite awful, I don't know how she's had as many projects as she has in her lifetime.
