well i guess even if you haven't liked this season the upside of a longer order is that they can righten themselves after the fall finale. They hear reviews, work out what's working and what isn't and hopefully they change the show accordingly.

I agree with everything except the clone dance party. that was awesome.
God, just the reminder of the ending of HIMYM is enough to anger me
so i watched the pilot of this show, thought annie was ridiculously annoying and decided i'd check in again later if they ironed out the problems. Kind of like what I did with Selfie.
So, is it worth it?
a) i think this is a bad episode to bring up the characters being caricatures, considering that peter was basically the straight man of this episode and it brought much more depth to annette. I actually really liked how they utilised peter, similar to jeremy I think he works best in smaller doses
b) i would have…
i knew there was something about jess I didn't like. Ferris is the best. Plus I'm pretty sure Rooney commits a felony while 'doing his job'
Yeah, you're totally right about jane having to work these issues through, there's just something… traditional, I guess, that bothers me? It feels like (and this might just be me projecting my own views) that Jane, and thus the show have this idea that we should aim for a traditional family because otherwise a child…
yeah i know, and if it was just her wish to know her dad I'd get it, but there's also the 'i wanted to gibe my child to TWO happy parents' and then once she finds out rafael wants a divorce because his wife is evil, she's suddenly unsure if she can give the baby to him.
I like this show a lot more than I thought I would- it's cute, it's funny and it's ridiculous in a way I really enjoy.
However there's an underlying conservatism that makes me a little uncomfortable, and I'm not talking about the no sex before marriage. I'm talking about the constant pushing of how a two parent…
i was pleasantly surprised that the show decided to end the affair so quickly. I was concerned when it starred that it would be a season of the show trying to convince us that Alison and Noah are Meant To Be, where I never believe it (I'm looking at you Scandal). But it didn't, and I loved seeing the reactions of the…
the fact is that kristina and adam don't make it obvious that that kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Max is a 'monster' because kristina and adam don't discipline him at all. Yes, being autistic makes it harder, and yes it colours all of his interactions, but you do not allow one of your students to be grabbed by a…
it's weak because he gave up on the entire marriage because of it. If he had been angry, taken some time then agreed to try work things out it would be different. But it happened and he completely shut julia out- he refused counselling and he refused to even talk to her about it. that behaviour, to me at least, is…
don't know, but in my experience the CW is allergic to healthy relationships.
I'm just going to say that while interpretations of history are subjective, who dies and who doesn't isn't subjective.
from memory in the pilot she was a little… harder, maybe? I don't know, i just remember mindy kaling saying it was unfortunate that people wanted to soften the character. I don't know how much she actually DID it, but i remember the conversation
Did you see the pilot?
No, I meant they removed Beverly, then had the new jersey one and Beth, then they removed the jersey one, brought Beverly back then removed Beth again. Either way, it's a fair amount of cast shuffling for a relatively new show.
That's… dumb. If they weren't going to even VAGUELY follow history they should have just called it sexy medieval times and not based it on mary queen of Scots. There's no way they won't kill francis eventually (presuming they get renewed), it's just a question of how long
Oh you know that for a fact do you? Good to know you're so close with a woman who's been dead for centuries
it's just a tv show, and it's not even that great. I'm just saying, I wouldn't be so attached to the couple if I were you
Well first they had Beverly and that mousy one. Then they got rid of Beverly, then the mousy one.
And no, I'm talking about the boss who was first played by Toby and then by Stephen tobolowsky
I don't think it's an particularly an issue narrativly, I think it suggests that some stuff may be happening behind the scenes, like how the network intervened after the first season and told mindy kaling that her character had to be more likable
Well they weren't peripheral- they lose one of the receptionists, Anna camp, the first boss and then the second boss. It's quite a lot of cast changes over three seasons
