Closing Fight Scene Classic
Wow, that episode was amazingly hilarious, I don't think I've laughed so hard at any other show this year. While I can see how many people will say they saw it coming, I was completely expecting Shirley to just step in in slug the guy, but not for the goons to take off their shirts and

Yeah, she turned a small bit part into something surprisingly funny. In just a few lines you really got a sense of her character, and they made her kind of weird and broken like most of the Greendale staff.

Eh
I always found people who bought lots of DVD's weird. How many times can you watch a movie?

Happy 10K here's to 10K more!!!

Non-sarcastic thanks for not including, "In Other Rooms, Other Wonders"
My honest sincere thanks for not including Daniyal Mueenuddin's "In Other Rooms, Other Wonders"

@Ellie, oh yeah, that scene in Sexy where he whispers to her has definitely stuck with me, also the title story is one I sometimes think back to often.

er, Asperger's, but I agree they have been toning it down, maybe they now look at it as a first episode mistake.

@Ajax, in the first episode Jeff says he clearly has Asperbers.

We all know Detroit's had a rough past couple of years (or decades), but sometimes they do it to themselves. *cough*KwameKilpatrick*cough*

Revelation
Putting in The College Dropout in Columbus Ohio, driving all the way to Akron, I finally got rap. Haven't stopped listening since. So yeah, good call at #2

I spent a bit today trying to find that song too, and upon finding it listened to it about 20 times on their myspace.

HIIIITTTTLLEEERRRR!

Sons and Daughters
Ok, part of the reason I never watched it was for some reason it got in my head it was a show about Sons and Daughters dating each other. I believe it had something to do with a similar show I mixed it up with or something like that. Very dumb, I agree, but I wonder if I was the only one? I think

One Way to Survive Reading Stephen King
DON'T DON'T DON'T READ DREAMCATCHER.

Man that was a crazy story.

Just like "Rose Red" or whatever that mini-series was called, is very much like the Shining.

I definitely disagree on Lovecraft being less readable than King. Lovecraft's imagery is so intense and amazing you can't not turn a page, its not to see how the plot resolves, but in hopes of him revealing more dark wonders. I could rote dictionary of Lovecraft's creations over and over again.

His short stories really are a cut above. The novels are great, and all have some standout moments (attacking coke machines in Tommy Knockers, Collie's falling apart in Desperation, Danny inventorying where not to go in the Shining), however they are clunky in the other moments, and it always seem they make better

@Wackadoodle, add to that the Crouch End neighborhood of London.
