I think Modern Family jumped the shark after season 4. I still watch the show but it's not as funny as back then. I thought this latest episode was really good.

I thought this was one of the funniest Modern Family episodes in a long time. I give it an A-.

I've been a fan of Modern Family since it started but this season and its finale was a big disappointment. Hopefully season 8 is better.

All of the writers for this show must have a serious case of "writers block." Why are there only 22 episodes this season when there were 24 in all of the other seasons? I know this show is going downhill fast but come on!

Ty Burrell must have a really sore back from carrying this show

I think the writers are cramming too many storylines into a 21 minute show and Luke and Manny can't act. The kids are grown up and that's a big reason why the show is slipping. The writers no longer know what to do with them. One more observation: Am I the only person here that thinks Julie Bowen looks different?

I agree! The first four seasons were funny and well written. Now it's just an average sitcom that has become predictable.

The series will end with Ed O'Neill waking up from a nightmare as Al Bundy in bed with Katey Sagal as Peg and Modern Family will be a dream. Just like Newhart. I'm pretty sure it won't end that way. LOL!
