I think the countdown to the end of the series is starting. The show is in the middle of season 7 and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the show ends in a year or two. Last year, the writers and some of the stars hinted that the end could be near. I would rather see Modern Family end on top rather than ABC running

Could very well happen

This season Andy and Haley will get engaged and move in together, season 8 they will get married, season 9 Haley will have a baby and Phil and Claire will be grandparents and that will be the end of the series.

I agree! The first four seasons were great. Now it's just an average show.

My prediction is that in season 8, Luke and Manny will graduate from high school and the season finale will be Haley and Andy's wedding. Season 9 will be the final season with Jay retiring and Claire taking over the business. The series finale will be Haley having a baby. I think it would be a great way to end the

Agreed!

I think it's now pretty obvious that the writers are running out of ideas for this show. I can't believe how much this show has regressed.

I agree that Julie Bowen is hot but I think she's a little too skinny.

The first four seasons were really funny and well written. Season 5 was iffy but season 6 was a little better. I think as the kids are getting older the writers are running out of ideas. Now episodes are focusing on ducklings following Phil and Claire around the house.

This episode was a big stinker! What a mess! Hopefully Phil lets the ducks loose in the next episode because that storyline has already been beaten to death. I also thought the acting was bad. One of the worst MF episodes I've watched in the entire series. As always, Ty Burrell is the star and carries the show.

I didn't think the episode was too bad. I'm a Modern Family fan but this show is declining. Almost 2 million less viewers are tuning in to this show per week from last season.

I think this seasons finale will be either Alex's high school graduation or Andy/Haley officially hooking up

It was an average episode. I give it a B. My favorite scenes were with Jay and Claire filming the commercial and their bonding moment afterwards. I thought the scenes with Phil, Luke and Manny fighting the drone were not that funny. I do think this season has turned out to be better than last season.

I actually believed that Haley was pregnant for a moment. I think before this show ends it's run, Phil and Claire will be grandparents. I can't believe how much Luke and Manny have regressed with their acting roles. They could be taken off the show and I don't think they would be missed that much.

I'm getting tired of this show but try to watch it every week. It could get cancelled and I really wouldn't miss it. I know that's weird to read.

I don't think the show should win best comedy at the Emmys but Ty Burrell should win an award since he makes the show.

I'm making a prediction by the end of this shows run, Phil and Claire will be grandparents.

Overall, I like this show but thought this episode was pretty blah. The wedding scene and Claire's voice over talking about Mitch was nice but the constant changing of wedding venues was annoying. Season 5 wasn't bad but the first four seasons were better. I think this show has peaked. Season 6 should be

Elizabeth Banks and Julie Bowen could pass for sisters!

I agree with the grade this week but would have given "Sleeper" a B instead of a C-. I think Joshua graded "Australia" too high….I would have given it a D-. Overall, I think season 5 is about B- quality.
