We have another month of this (not counting the DVD release), so enjoy the ride as it grows increasingly uncomfortable until it just becomes sad.

December 20th. Same day as Walking with Dinosaurs and Her (limited) and expansions of American Hustle, Inside Llewyn Davis, and Saving Mr. Banks.
The more Ron Burgundy does, the more concerned I get over the quality of the movie.
Both sides have their lunatic fringe, and the Tea Party is the Republicans'. (Or at least one of them.) They haven't been relevant except as a punchline for many years. And I don't think The Simpsons does a good job of mocking the Democrats. Most of their insults tend to portray the Democrats as weak, but it's more in…
Once this show figured itself out (mostly over the past two episodes), it became one of the more emotionally honest shows on TV in a terrific way. It has done a great job of selling personal and professional hurt and desperation without becoming overwhelmingly despondent.
I am getting satisfaction that the sheen is coming off of AMC. As much as I miss Rubicon, I'm glad the network is falling apart- at least critically.
I would love the second season to be the ME yelling at Mark Strong "What's her name? What's her name? What's her name?" intercut with David Constabile in various stages of undress.

I know Barney/NPH gets all the acclaim (and I was annoyed for a couple of seasons when he seemed to be the focus), but not only does Ted's story work on successfully on several emotional levels, Josh Radnor does a great job with it.
If someone reacted to me the way the mother did to Barney, I'd wonder if I came across as so depressed that my wrists spontaneously sprung a leak.

Did Ted Mosby actually come to life to request this?
He's also been passed over for Popeye, and Popeye and Bullwinkle seemed to be the only two things he was able to do.
You expect him to sit after doing that many eight balls?
The Dudley Do Right movie. Was that around the start of Brendan Fraser's incredible streak of bad choices? I know George of the Jungle came out earlier, but he still seemed to have some heat after that.
First Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon in 50 years? Shouldn't the movie that destroyed Robert DeNiro for nigh on a decade count for something?
Didn't they also kind of do another parallel-y storyline episode in the one where Lisa needs a picture of Burns smiling so he can when a bet against Rich Texan? (An episode I like to be completely honest.)
