I'm pretty sure the reason for most of the blatant cuts was to illustrate the fact that the crimes were happening in both universes. Also because the action was happening in both universes. Last episode the action was most just happening Over There.

Yeah I have thought of that, that while physical aggression is generally the norm among criminals there is some sort of line the people in this prison wont cross. Such as rape. I think one thing that really weirded me out about the Boiling Rock was how the prison was co-ed. That's one of the most obvious moments that this is a kid's show because it sort of goes into how prisoners could be harrassed by their wardens but doesn't mention at all how men and women shouldn't EVER be asked to share…

Freddy Rumsen, I'm not sure if it's established yet that the other Broyles is a shapeshifter. he's definitely working for David Robert Jones but like the other Nina, he might be under some sort of duress. I like both of them but I think it's the way Fauxlivia carries herself. She's meant to be looser, less serious, more open. Plus she smiles more which I think people find more attractive since it's more approachable.

I like the part at the end where Broyles said Fringe division just isn't the same without an Olivia Dunham around. I'm totally down with the return of Olympic sharpshooter Fauxlivia.

Yeah I remembered the monsters being in other episodes and what those episodes were about but I had to look up when they actually occurred. At least to make sure I hadn't just imagined it.
