Michaela Watkins deserves an Emmy for this role. She is amazing.

That fit of laughter from Valerie actually brought tears to my eyes. I've never seen laughter so sad in my life. Except for maybe back in episode 3.

Man they BETTER realize something's happened with Helena. If I was Helena I'd be so pissed. Like look guys, I know I'm the one who can handle herself against all odds but seriously. Please have my back once in a while.

They had no qualms about letting it happen. They were probably thinking, "yeah keep talking so that she'll have plenty of time to get the drop on you."

The entire time he was monologuing I just kept thinking, "You're an idiot. Helena is so behind you right now."

Michiel Huisman is having a great year co-star wise.

I think there's some sort of weird monitor bro club happening with the guys on this show. Cal's partners sold his idea to the military. Paul was military and apparently ghosting or whatever according to Tony's dead monitor (I just assumed he was his monitor). And Mark was military as well. I wonder if Paul and Mark

Random thoughts:

Sarah has a really difficult life……. Her phone was blowing up all episode.

Azula style meltdown. Nicely put. Although I beg to differ. Rachel showed some real pizzazz by going over Leekie to make a deal with Marion.

I don't trust Michel Huisman. I want to trust him. I really do. And he seems so trust worthy on the shows he's in (Game of Thrones and Orphan Black) but for some reason I just don't trust him. Maybe it's just that he's so conveniently perfect for whatever our heroine needs of him. Or the shows I watch are perfectly

Man. I am looking forward to spending LOTS more time with the Martells and the Sand Sisters. But what about the princess? She's going to be in it too right…….? Or has she already been cast?

Yeah I TOTALLY thought she was going to ask about that. And then she make a sharp left and I was like, "BUT THE WOLF THING." But I guess Mina was a much more pressing issue for all of them… and I hope she knows Malcolm is lying. About not knowing. Because he's so lying.

I loved the line after. "If I know how to shed tears I would shed them for you."

I loved how unflappably inconvenienced he was by the entire thing. And the way the show doesn't fall down that "funny=stupid" road. The man is clearly an expert in his field. He's also kind of a classist fop. The two can exist in the same character.

I found Proteus's untimely end heartbreaking. Absolutely fucking heartbreaking. I always felt back for the original Monster of the novels but this one is a jerk.

Hannibal is a BIG member of the fandom.

I just wanted to point out that in the original mythology, Achilles and Patroclus might have been lovers, and there is a lot of debate among scholars as to the true nature of their relationship. Just super best bros? Or also sort of boinking best bros? Dunno. Something to think about when considering how lovingly

Tatiana Maslany is a god send. That is all I know to say. Because that final scene with Sara and Daniel and then Helena was A++++. God the horror on her face throughout. So good.

I just wanted to say that Skye's hair could just be her hair. As a fellow Chinese person, I can attest to the luscious volume of our people's hair. As for that lovely finger wave though… well that's probably the hair and make-up department.
