I posted this down there but I'll just copy and paste it here:

So the swimming squid thing in the tank was from that episode where the Chinese Immigrants were being dosed with them so that they could create pellets of healing drugs for rich people's kids. (Season 2, Episode 9)

I got the "Noah's Ark" image too! But he keeps the poor porcupine people in cages so I'm not sure what he's trying to do. I guess this timeline is exploring "what would have happened had Peter not killed David Robert Jones?" Because obviously Jones was up to something way back in Season 1 but his story was cut short.

Well technically there are no first people right? That was just something Walter made up when he sent the machine back for Peter to use.

I think they probably can die? But that his other Observer friends took him to the future to fix him up. And then he escaped before he could change his shirt.

I agree. Red Lincoln was funny. Too bad neither Fauxlivias ever took to him.

I know that in the other Red Universe, Faux-Charlie was married to bug girl and they were on their honeymoon which was why he wasn't there for the "One Night in October" case. He might have been replaced by a Shapeshifter in this timeline as well though.

Although do you think the other Observers knew what it was for? That the point of it was to help September get back to "present day" or whatever? Also, I'm still confused on what exactly the beacon does other than beam Observers into Peter's house. Or is that what it does? It allows people from the Observer's timeline

What I've concluded from Season 4 is that a) Peter gets all the Olivias ever and b) Lincoln gets all the Olivias never.

From watching the pilot I seem to have gathered that Sokka is dead. I don't know about Suki or Zuko though. Toph is dead.

Did anyone watch that movie "Perfume?" Because that was all I could think about with this week's case.

Which I think is sad. I mean I would have loved to get more Aang Gang adventures but the way they told the story and wrapped things up was just perfect. Maybe a mini-series on how Zuko found his mother but just doing a "village of the week" show to satisfy fans would have ruined the tightly plotted series.

"In fact, the inevitable fan backlash has already begun, with people whining on Dubhappy’s comment boards because Korra doesn’t center on the same characters, features a technology level that Avatar didn’t have, and generally isn’t exactly the same as the previous series, while somehow also regurgitating the old plot

Man. I bet they cannot freakin' wait for Pixar to get back in the game.

Politics in general these days seems to have turned into "Well he does WORSE things." It's ok that Rick Santorum is a complete misogynist because Obama is a socialist! And it's totally ok if Obama never closed Guantanamo Bay because Newt Gingrich is so crazy he wants to colonize the moon. The big problem I see is that

I'm not really sure how these types of arguments work. You justify one questionable action by pointing out someone else's questionable actions. It's extremely juvenile. I literally heard a kid do it the other day. "But mommy! [So-and-so] uses that word all the time!" Or hey, how about, "But the UN! Everyone else has

I too have always found it disturbing that Hama was sent back to jail. I understand that because of her madness she couldn't be left to her own devices but at the same time given what she's been through more jail feels wrong. Unfortunately, I doubt the Fire Nation has an insanity ward or that they're all that kind to

I'm not really sure how that affects the numbers to be honest. I suppose if you're already a subscriber it doesn't matter much, although it would take from DVD sales. And then there's the whole thing of letting your friends borrow your stuff.
