It sort of makes sense to me that a system as strictly focused on actions and their utility would pick someone like her. She's someone who's probably helped a lot of people, but that's because she came from a place of privilege and she could afford to.

Something about ending a conversation about weather gracefully.

I'm quite interested in why you think people here would care about or challenge your random opinions on Christianity. People commenting on this site are definitely not the target audience for your screeds.

"Eh, I'll use the stairs. I could use some exercise… OF DEMONS"

I just watched the trailer for that, and I'm guessing it adequately conveys the movie's quality.

So I'm guessing Trollhunter is the Friday entry? I wouldn't mind if it's Shyamalan's The Visit either. I know Paranormal Activity is no longer a popular choice, but I liked it the first (and only time) I watched it. I didn't know what to expect, and I found it pretty spooky. The sequels, though? Nope.

It did give us this:

It's a shame that almost all everybody is talking about is his beard and hair. As a former owner of the former and a future former owner of the latter, I think you guys are being beard. I mean weird! Shit.

With Pizzolatto? Undoubtedly.

Oooh yes. I guess you should add "unless they're 1970s' remakes of 1950s horror B -films".

I was going to disagree (e.g. The Thing) but then you added the profitability aspect to the claim, and that is much harder to argue against. The Fly maybe?

That House of the Rising Sun trailer made it look so fun I'm still considering watching this.

Hey, they say write what you know. Just you wait for my 1000-page novel about the back of my hand, because I know it like the back of my hand.

(Better at pool, I hope. So much so, that you payed for college by hustling.)

Arrrrrrgh you've repeated the words "Hearts In Atlantis" so many times they've lost their original meaning.

Ooof, I'm an idiot. I actually wanted to say "in English language". I'm sure there's some kind of error in that statement as well.

A pretty amazing song indeed. Setting aside his voice and music for a moment, is Cohen one of the greatest living American poets or what?
