I think Vogel is actually playing a sadistic game, getting her various "project" serial killers to hunt each other. You heard it here first, people. 

The original is one of my favourite movies. I always felt it was underrated. You see a lot of elements it introduced cropping up in later films… like the 'fast head' thing, for instance.

Anyone see  Citizen X with Donald Sutherland? Similar thing, Soviet serial killer… it was great.
