I totally saw it as a 'Silence' homage. When Will raised the corpse and the wings spread out, I immediately thought of that scene where Jame Gumb, draped in a large shawl, turns to face the camera with his genitals tucked between his legs.

That fountain scene was magnificent, with the glow of the fireflies lighting up Will's face. Gave me chills!

Read 'Hannibal Rising' if you want to know about Mischa.

And move that fucking glass out of the way. Jeezus, Mads is TIGHT.

Leftover home made corn pudding with salsa. I tend to eat lightly at night.

I thought Tom Noonan made a much better Dolarhyde in Manhunter. Still gives me the shudders.

I posted a link to Big Time on my FB page last week and asked if anyone was watching. No likes, no comments. Dammit people! This is an absurdist gem of a show!

Tobolowsky should get an Emmy just for the way he rocked that toupee!

Yeah, I didn't see that scene either because of the cutaway to TDS. Dammit! I'll just have to rewatch on demand.

As soon as he stepped out of the car into the rain, I thought "he's so busted."

So….nobody (not even Teti) recognized Max Gail as Floyd in the legion hall? Or that the TV show Don was watching was Flip Wilson interviewing Redd Foxx (both black men)? Tsk, tsk.

"I'm going to cut you into little pieces."

I like how things just keep going from bad to worse, kinda like Breaking Bad. Ben and Jack have told so many lies, I'm not sure they can escape them anymore. But it sure is fun to watch!

When people ask me to describe Big Time, "absurdist" is the word that always comes to mind. You're right, it's a very unique show.

She looks much younger with her hair down. Quite marvelous, really.

Damn, I miss Castleroy! He and Greer really were well-matched. Leith is…and always has been…smarmy. Good on Greer to refuse to give up control of her life to a "probably."

I've managed to keep up with Mom through timeslot changes and conflicts with other shows I watch, and I'm glad I did. Allison Janney is a great physical comedienne with impeccable timing; it's a joy to watch her work. There's a good balance between comedy and facing the issues of recovering alcoholics head-on.

Yes, that rocking chair scene made a real, solid connection to the Norman Bates in Psycho. Great callout to the movie.

I love that the sketch took place in Galveston, TX, where there actually is a high school football team called the "Buccaneers." I bet the chamber of commerce loved that. ;)
