Speaking of "penchant," gotta love that Alfred pronounced it in the correct French way, as only he would do. ;)

I can't help but feel overwhelming pity for Caleb as well. His obsession over his sister has ruined his life, and all he wants is what they had, even though he knows it's wrong. Kenny Johnson is doing some mighty fine work showing the many sides of a difficult character.
Yep. Damn, I miss Midnight Caller, and American Gothic as well. Classic Gary Cole!
Yeah, CCR had some great Vietnam war songs. "Run Through the Jungle" is my favorite.
I had a totally different take on that. Arkady's too smart to pull the plug on Zephyr prematurely, but perhaps he's saying he will to draw out Tatiana. He doesn't trust her and warned Oleg about her earlier this season. The look he gave her at the end of the scene was like "I'm watching you." Just my two cents.…
Danny Trejo makes hats?!
Well, the hat didn't make it out of Harlan alive, and I think that's for the best. Raylan had to leave at least part of his old life behind.
Was anyone else bothered by the fact that Rollo and Bjorn kept forcing men to climb the towers even when it was painfully obvious that all was lost and bodies were raining down around them? I know Valhalla is a Viking's ultimate goal, but wouldn't an organized retreat have been a better option?
It was a solid A just for the 40-minute battle scene alone. I can't think of anything that epic in a single TV episode. Very intense to watch!
Ugh, that slut? Rollo has better taste than that. ;)
That was a truly riveting scene. No wonder the French soldiers redoubled their efforts and won the day! All while her father (?) cowered behind a mask.
The Take 5's just fly out of my candy bowl at work. They can be hard to find!
Judah Friedlander is great on @midnight, too. He always gets a little wild.
It didn't make you sick to see how poorly Jimmy was treated by his brother Chuck…and how it literally shaped his destiny?
Yeah, that was a pretty glaring mistake on the critic's part. That's what IMdB is for!
I grew up in the 60s surrounded by stuff I've seen in Mad Men (I was the same age as Sally Draper). My parents still have a lot of it, and I've "inherited" some great MCM and Danish Modern pieces, including a space age 3-legged ashtray. I also comb through thrift stores and rummage sales for mid-century barware,…
Arkady is sure to find out about Oleg's efforts to free Nina. How he handles it will be interesting to watch. Also, Oleg and Tatiana (?) exchanged a significant look when Oleg left Arkady's office. I know Oleg's been flirting with her, but is something else going on between them?
Yep. I saw it again recently and it's still a great movie. Very tense and sad.
I thought the very same thing! Chances were good that they could have bugged the robot without Betty even knowing they were there.
I loved Oryx and Crake and have read it at least twice. Good stuff!
