Yeah, last night's episode was way overwrought, and has me wondering whether I should stick around much longer. Viola Davis is the only one with decent acting chops. Everyone else, except maybe Jack Falahee as Connor, looks like they're in acting class…and failing.

Damn! Not seeing a lot of shows from the 60s/70s, so here goes:
Early childhood: Gilligan's Island, McHale's Navy, Hanna Barbera and Looney Tunes cartoons
Teenage years: Emergency!, Starsky & Hutch
College: Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, All in the Family, Chico & The Man
Fuck, I'm old…

Vikings!

The opening title sequence is marvelously done. I look forward to seeing it each week; it has some pretty weird and disturbing scenes that I couldn't take in all at once.

Coven was only interesting because of its New Orleans setting. My mom and I mainly watched to see if we could recognize the shooting locations.

He's channeling Ben Linus…and I like it!
Dammit, Jake beat me to it below.

Right now, Juice and Nero are the only ones with a conscience.

I'm also put off by her heavy black eye makeup. She'd be so much prettier without all that.

Seeing him in The Shield gave me a whole new perspective on his talents. The man can really act, but it seems very few people are aware of it.

I'm usually not put off by weird stuff, but for some reason that kiss was uncomfortable to watch.

I wonder if the number on the wall of the new lair will mean anything in the future. Was it 127? 172? We know JJ Abrams loves him some numbers.

The computer graphics in the intro are also from Samaritan now, not the Machine. Samaritan uses round targets, while "She" uses triangular ones. Subtle change but very effective.

Well, I'm either a quadroon or an octaroon. The family tree is a bit tangled. ;)

What CR said! I've seen photos of Thomas M. Wright so I knew what was hiding under there, but it didn't make the scene any less sexy.

Yeah, that was a big WTF moment…unless Unser left it out on purpose, although I can't imagine why.

And what would be wrong with that? Mackey was LAPD before he ended up at the FBI. It wouldn't be much of a stretch for Mackey to show up on SOA.

He melted my heart with the "They're everyone's stars" line from last week.

Yes, she is…but she certainly acts circles around everyone else, except maybe Smits. Her jailhouse scene with Jax was excellent.

From the looks of the fridge contents, Juice is one serious health nut.
