Gelman was on @midnight earlier this week and he was hilarious.

I seized on that line, as well. Now where can I find a depression buddy?

I'll put a plastic bag over the head of mine.

Why in the fuck would she come downstairs after hearing all that shooting??? She could have hidden in a closet and survived.

Ditto. I realized Extant wasn't working for me when I found myself doing chores while it was on. I find the lack of chemistry/connection between the characters very off-putting. I'd rather watch The Bridge live anyway.

HAS ANYONE SEEN THE CAGE?? (apologies to Led Zepplin)

I lived in the Montrose during the 90s, but I never hung out at hip happy hours, unfortunately. Too busy watching Brisco and X-Files, I guess. ;)

DENTAL PLAN!

In pog form!

I'm watching Tyrant only because Ashraf Barhom is a force of nature that cannot be denied.

That was a nice bit of cognitive dissonance. Flo be hatin'!

I wonder what her relationship is with the hamster-in-a-ball husband. Is he attentive to her needs???

It was short. The episode ended at 5 minutes before the hour. I'm used to FX shows going at least to the top of the hour, or a few minutes over.

I found her to be very stiff in this episode. It's almost as if she's acting AT her castmates, and not with them. Sonia alluded to this in her post on last week's episode where she mentioned that Berry doesn't seem to be connecting with the other actors. Not sure whose fault that is, but she has zero chemistry with

You mean you'll be in your "bunk"? Say hello to Jayne.

Ha! I tried that line on my (younger) coworkers and they looked at me like I was from outer space. Whippersnappers.

ROCKFISH! :(

No one was pronouncing it right. I kept shouting "it's Nu-clee-ar, idiots!"
