Funny, I saw an old HBO special of his (maybe his first one?) and thought it was pretty dreadful - lots of Bill Mahr-esque "religion is for idiots!" jokes and short on the punchlines.

I'm noticing reviews of standup specials and comedies are giving away a lot more jokes. Can we cut it down to like 300 words and not print a bunch of the jokes in the special going forward? That "I'm not just talking about the cops" bit sounds funny, but the way you described it I can now picture Cross doing the bit

Those tweets sure are adjacent to humor

Yo Joshua - it's all about Passionfruit. Strap the fuck in, you're in for the ride of your life.

I misunderstood. That's unprofessional if that's what she was doing … but I also don't really care, that's between her and her employer/colleagues.

So what? Why do white males on the internet* get so offended when someone brings up their race?

I saw the choice to make the guard slightly more sympathetic as a way to make the TV show more compelling and dramatic (and create the perfect storm for the cliffhanger at the end).

This is really good

WHATAMIAFUCKINGRETARDMAN

So how is this? I loved Eastbound and Down and Observe and Report, I am the type that finds Danny McBride hilarious almost all of the time and I more or less trust these guys implicitly. But the previews do not make this look great.
