You found THIS episode to be more confusing than Mulholland Drive or Lost Highway?

I am not really THAT smart, but I was really bored by "inception". I was told again and again how good it was so I gave it another chance and was bored again. I like Nolan's Batman but that's it I'm afraid. Nothing wrong with that.

If you prepare yourself for it there are so many things worse than looking at beautiful pictures and listening to Hans Zimmer for 3 hours.

I do like the fact that Nolan has his own style that is pretty much different from everything else that is popular nowadays. That being said, except for his Batman movies I find his films boring, unfortunately. When I hear for example how "deep" Inception is supposed to be I just don't get it. Which is fine. I take 5

I have no memory of that unfortunately, but I have the back issues somewhere so maybe I will re-visit those issues someday. I always liked Shadow Of The Bat too, especially the beautiful painted (?) covers. Back then the Batman books seemed to be much more interesting to me. Nowadays I have no interest in his books

Wait.. what? They are gonna turn "civil war" into the next Captain America film? While I don't think all the interesting parts of that can be packed into one movie I DID love "winter soldier" so much that I am actually quite excited about this now.

Inside Llewyin Davis was so entertaining and well made. I had no interest in seeing it as the trailer made it seem to be dull, but am I ever so glad that this didn't keep me from going.

"I also grew up with gay guys and the socially awkward"

Claire Dane's over-acting? Her character is supposed to be relatable?

Nothing wrong with reviews that do not agree with your own opinion. I just watched and loved this episode and now caught up on the review. While I do disagree with a lot of what is being said there are quite a few valid points as well (basically the whole drone/saul thing). Still means that I give this episode an A

Wow there is a lot of sex spamming going on right now. Can we be sure it's not the latest Franco art project?

Wasn't the missing depth on purpose? I enjoyed the film but found every "character" to be a total asshole with Franco being the most entertaining by far. I can't imagine those people should have been anything but shallow soulless stereotypes. Even the casting suggests that, especially with 2 (or more?) of the girls

If anything he should be "crushing" on Falcone though. Because look at John Doman!!

"the talented mr. ripley" is great though. I really enjoyed that in all it's various forms.

Wasn't he introduced when he took some people in an asylum hostage and killed one after another, beautifully drawn by Norm Breyfogle?

His hair alone (awesome and disturbing as it is) is more than enough reason to look at him weirdly.

Personally I think Penguin is one of the best things about this show. Certainly one of the most interesting ones. Since you mention your gaydar I assume that you are at least a bit familiar with the portrayal of gay characters in films when it was not allowed to portray gay characters in films? Because "slightly

There is a trend? In this show, definitely! But in general I have not witnessed such a thing. Which shows do you have in mind?

But is it a comic book adaptation? When the show was announced it was expected that it would be an adaptation of "gotham central", but what we get is more like the 60s Batman, Shoemaker's and Burton's versions and the basic idea (none of the heart or intelligence, though) of "gotham central" thrown into a blender.

Earh One Alfred is awesome! He's not an asshole though. I heard that opinion about him before and it always confuses me. Because Earth One Alfred is awesome!
