I did the same thing last year and had the oposite reaction. As a child I found all the character work mostly boring, but reading it now I found it fascinating and terribly interesting.

"The Shining" is an amazing novel. The thing about "scary" is that it's different for everyone. That being said, re-reading this as an adult I found the situation that Jack was in pretty scary: depending on keeping this job, and still not able to not fuck it up.

Excuse me, but when are the mentally disabled ever not funny?

Interesting that you read that character as female.

Wasn't he the murder suspect in season one of "murder one"?

Now I am missing Southland all over again. That really was a show one could fall in love with. That never lasts long.

I had no idea this was getting a sequel, but that's great news as long as the same team behind the camera is involved as well as Vera Farmiga. Here's hoping this won't take away from too much of her time being awesome on "bates motel".

Oh the things I wanna do to him, you barely scratched the surface…

Damn you Wilderhair, now I have to watch this.

If I could enjoy Kevin James the way I wanted to there is no way I could breathe through my mouth!

I have not seen the original Mall Cop but sometimes (quite often) googled pictures from the film since Kevin James does look hot in uniform. I will most certainly treat the sequel the same way so this is good news for me.

I remember reading "guardians" comics maybe 20 years ago and there was one main character who was a stocky muscular guy wearing a harness. Why is he missing on the picture?

"Of course I wanna see that" is the obvious response although by your phrasing of the question not the answer you are trying to receive.

That can't be true and isn't.

DeNiro will never die! In 10 years or so I expect him to pull off a Benjamin Button and start another circle of awesomeness, making the last 10, 15 years disappear from the collective consciousness.

Season 3 of The Killing was probably the best thing I have watched in a long, long time. Not loving the final episode but that's kinda a given with this show by now. I for one am really happy that it gets a fourth season.

You can't see how this sentence "Scenes in which the brokers beat the shit out of Belfort’s gay butler" implied to me that him being gay had a part in the beating? Because why mention it otherwise? No other characters were introduced with a mention of their sexual orientation in the whole review.

No matter what you think of doing coke or throwing midgets - threeways should never be called a bad thing!

Is "fucking candle" what the kids call a dildo nowadays?

1. This really makes me want to see the movie. Which of course was your intention! You can admit it now.
