Vera Farmiga is awesome though!

No, it's not. Actually the german tv version of "psycho" shows some more stabbing and one more woman-in-underwear shot than the american version (which is the only one being available on dvd or bluray). It's just the film reels from the 60s that are censored and when the film gets shown in a theatre that's the ones

Depressing cencorship fact: the german theatrical run of "psycho" was missing that great amazing scene. Arbogast starts walking up the stairs. Cut. Next scene. The audience has no idea what happened to him at all.

I love horror. My favorite genre by far. Sick, gory stuff or psychological, whatever. I really love it.

OR how about Norman has to go undercover to infiltrate the sex slave ring and the add says "boys must not apply"?

"Hopefully that road to crossdressing will be filled with much more craziness and creepy maternal jealousy and love."

Can we get that as a spinoff show please?

One of the things I am curious about is how/if the show is gonna adress the whole crossdressing thing of Norman. Does that only start after Norma is dead or was that something he did before as well?

Yeah, I felt the same way about W. Earl Brown. But since I find him attractive OF COURSE he turns out to be a rapist and has to get murdered. The story of my life.

When Cooper and Lucero were wrestling last episode and it lasted a little longer than "appropriate" (?) I thought "please don't kiss Cooper now". Luckily he didn't. I would have hated that, that would have been so "easy".

Yeah, that was another scene that was simply beautifully shot. The show always found great angles and light effects to make scenes extra rewarding to look at. Every episode had at least 2 or 3 where you noticed that what you are seeing is just beautiful.

"Why is he talking to his baby son like the kid's his adult friend?"

The writers and producers and whatnot obviously knew that the show was unlikely to get picked up again, so this cliffhanger ending is just evil and totally fucked up.

I got exactly the same thing out of this film as I got from Tron: Legacy. Really nice visuals and a film that is at least 30 minutes too long. Except for the running time both are great to watch when you are a bit wasted and just want to look at something really pretty. Too bad though there's also Cruise to look at.

I'm reading this on a really crap mobile phone today so I'm not going through the comments and will probably just repeat what has been said before so sorry for that.

So he's a closeted pedophile?

Interesting idea. But this episode was half the time pitch black so watching it without the sound would be like turning the tv off. Oh, now I see what you are getting at!

How did you see any of FBI agents as homophobic?

"(jacob is) just a mish-mash of flimsy concepts—daddy issues, closeted homosexuality"

I really do appreciate that the reviews on this site are usually not the "this happened… and then this happened… and then that happened" type of recap, but after reading this review I have no idea what happened in this episode. While I haven't watched this show since somewhere in season 2 I was somewhat curious about
