Maybe you shouldn't go see such awful bands - of course there's shitheads at those shows.  I've seen several excellent metal bands with female members this year - Shroud Eater, Witch Mountain, Holly Hunt, Castle, Dark Castle -  and there was none of that.

I think Thor and Hulk are probably the most promising of the new crop so far, even though I can't stand Lionel Yu. "Eve of Destruction" is easily the best Fake Dylan song of all time.  I love the Dickies version but I've grown to appreciate the original.  The gibberish approximation of Dylan's lyrics and anger, the random harmonica tootles, the way the two A&R guys who wrote it didn't even try to rhyme by the third verse….good…

I think he has the potential to make a great album, but he needs to get the hell away from Rick Ross and find somebody intelligent and talented to work with.
