That might actually be pretty good, if done right. He's a hilarious-sounding character that could work in a one shot, and he'd have to be more-or-less invented whole cloth aside from the obvious gimmick. Plus, we know we'll get a good ending.

New Krypton started off well but it was both too long and rushed at the end, which pushed the reset button and undid the whole thing.

I don't know, Snyder seems like a strange fit. All of his non-tights stuff is horror, and all of his Batman stuff has been at least horror-tinged. I like his work generally, but I've never seem anything to indicate he would write Superman. I'd like for the book to be good - DC should have at least one good Superman…

Yeah, it's a shame. I agree with the article that Fisch would've been a much better (and less random) choice than Andy Diggle. I've liked some of Diggle's stuff in the past, but his whole Daredevil Shadowland fiasco was just embarrassingly bad - every 90's gritty cliche dark anti-hero black-tights angst-fest crammed…

I'll second Steal This Album and Party Music as both better albums front to back and better starting points, but there's at least four or five classics on every Coup album as far as I'm concerned. "Vapid" and "pretentious" they are not.

A quick look at the front page of Datpiff on any given day will provide you with dozens of rap records with worse covers than anything the Coup has ever done.

Aw, did the hessians throw you in the creek and take your lunch money again?

Yeah, that line cracked me up too. Next you'll be telling me they rap about women in an inappropriate manner, or endorse the usage of marijuana.

Really? Man, I might have to pick that up. I really liked that one - still need to give this a listen.
