I was thoroughly disappointed in I Eat Your Skin for similar reasons.  And it's not even a pun!

True enough, but Hayes had much more of an orchestral, earthy style compared to the dissonant bombastic Whitfield wall of noise.  Plus he was on much more of a spiritual, mystical tip. "Cloud Nine" and those records are claustrophobic and trippy like Deep Purple or Vanilla Fudge - spacey but kind of menacing.

I'm a huge fan of the psychedelic Whitfield-era Temptations.  Ten minute songs, big nasty guitars, wah-wah madness, extended song-suites…nobody else was doing that.

A lot of this actually sounds pretty cool, but I'm skeptical about Posehn and Duggan on Deadpool.  It has potential to be great but also to be another worthless celebrity vanity project as well.  Posehn's no Kevin Smith (thank god) but we'll see.  Tony Moore certainly can't hurt.
