I almost choked when Kayla (great review, btw) mentioned Moore's use of the collective unconscious (rather: "strange allusions to history repeating itself could embed themselves in art")—but this instance is much easier to swallow and feels more organically arrived at than the BSG one.

I'm liking the show more and more with each episode. This was confident and surefooted and made all sorts of good decisions, with nary a false note.

"The Kids Are All Right" taught me that lesbian couples watch (male) gay porn, so maybe what Strax found in Clara's head (men playing "sport") is actually setting up a female love interest for Clara. Huge stretch, I know, and this isn't "Torchwood."

The episode placed some (welcome) emphasis on how this is the same person—he *remembers* calling Clara; he didn't eavesdrop. But he is not a hugger or a thief (capable of stealing lunch) "this time around." Do the regenerations generally have their cake and eat it too in this manner: keeping the continuity but

Gotcha; thanks so much.

The Doctor mumbled something about Amy during the scene where he and Clara are trying to kick the Sonic Screwdriver into the other's hand. Did anyone catch the words? I expect something like "Pond's feet were much more dexterous."

Alasdair mentions the great (befuddled but insightful) soliloquy about bedrooms; the Doctor's line about the mirror was great, too: "Don't look at that; that guy is PISSED!" [paraphrased]

I figure the pig parts might pass for the cremains of the stiff he stole (for money).

Maybe the show was trolling for memes.

Alak's face—and the camera stayed on it for long, long seconds—was priceless. He realizes he's married his mother and then he seems to be deciding whether it's okay to high-five himself about it in front of other people.

Platinum Games, you say… There goes my metalbending!

ALL his lines in _Aliens_ are great. I'm now thinking he pulled a Kilmer-in-Tombstone career-best back then and we just didn't notice.

"No: I'm BETTER THAN THAT!"

The water level rises?

Now that you mention it, I've seen people refer to World War 2 as "Double-you Double-you Eye Eye"—but I think they were going for style rather than speed.

"ASAP"—when uttered aloud—isn't much of a shortcut either: it saves two syllables.

His dad's name is Heidi Klum.

(Apologies: I'm sure this has been covered already quite thoroughly.)

wtf is Starz lol
