Nice. I've seen Toots and the Maytals twice and they killed it both times, and man he can still get after it for a guy his age. Didn't get to share a joint, though I did get a fist bump.

If that's not justifiable grounds for divorce, nothing is.

I saw The Greenhornes twice, opening for Southern Culture on the Skids and White Stripes, respectively. I really dug 'em both times.

Upvoted for Heartless Bastards. I've seen them at least a half dozen times and they always kick ass.

I was really into the Bosstones in high school and college, but never got to see them as I lived in the sticks. But they're coming to my town to play a block party in late August and I'm pretty sure I'll have to check it out.

Goddamn, I wish I could've seen Ramones at least once.

I finally saw Elvis for the first time last month and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm jealous of you and your brother's Local H experiences. I've seen them once and, unfortunately, it was the most disappointing live show I've ever seen. Not worst, but most disappointing, probably because my expectations were sky high. It was '01 and I loved all of their albums to that point. They came out with five

I feel your pain, my friend. I grew up in a northeast Nebraska backwater, and loved music, but pretty much never got to see any shows until I was in college. And even then, it was at least a two hour drive to pretty much anything. Luckily now I live in a much better live music location.

Upvoted for The Joy Formidable, who I'd never heard of until I saw they were playing at a festival my wife wanted to go to last year. I enjoyed them just as much or more than just about anybody on that bill.

Hell yeah! I've seen the Reverend probably around a half dozen times, and he's always great. That's where I discovered the Legendary Shack Shakers as well, and I gotta say, I enjoyed them even more. Probably seeing them around the 6-10 times mark. Col. J.D. was such a raw, weird presence on stage, but he and band

Thanks, that was only a hazy memory for many years.

Lord Palmerston would be a much better biopic subject, if we're making movies about prime ministers.

Wow, somebody else remembers that! I would've almost sworn I imagined that, because nobody ever knew what the hell I was talking about when I mentioned it.

Rube Waddell's story is absolutely fascinating. A mentally ill, severe alcoholic who just happened to be extremely good at throwing a baseball and liked to chase firetrucks.

Yeah, but he's a pervert.

Did you see a sign on my garage that said "Dead Clown Storage?"

So it was you who removed all the vowels from their sign!

Cool, I had several friends at the Lincoln show, having grown up in Nebraska. I was unfamiliar with Ghost until I looked into them a few days ago. I thought they were alright, if gimmicky. The theatrics do pair well with Maiden, though.

GRAPE SODA, CARL! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?
