Is the "edited-for-TV version" a joke, I hope?
No wait, I hope that's for real.
Shit: I can't tell! Either way is awesome, though.

I'd like to see her try …

Keira Knightley '10 …
… or '85 Jacqueline Bisset?

Dan Aykroyd's vodka
I've only seen it once, but they have it at one bar up here: It comes in a skull-shaped bottle that my friend and I initially figured for a bong. (Though we couldn't figure any good reason an upstanding sports bar would have a bong on its liquor shelf.)
The bartender said it's not very good, though.

I once suggested that Lisa Loeb could revive her career by posing topless (with the headline "Frontal Loeb"); that was not a popular notion among the St. Mark's alumni.

What's that line from, Zombie? I know it, but I can't place it.

I still listen to both "Deliverance" and "Dark Days, Bright Nights" pretty often.

Ooops: Thanks!

"What's Clef got to do with it … "
"I'm not a Bob Marley imposter … "
(Wyclef Jean, ca. 2001)

It makes me surprised "Blazing Saddles" ever got released.

Mild Peril: MPAA criterion or Minor Threat tribute act? You decide …

I saw Modest Mouse at Red Rocks, too, but it was in '07, with Band of Horses. I remember very little except for being soaked and hammered.

In addition to a great icebreaker question (because some people's first shows are embarrasingly awesome, while some are awesomely embarrasing), that'd make a great AVQ&A.
And frankly, I'm surprised that wasn't the "firstie" on this thread.
(BTW: R.E.M. and 10,000 Maniacs on the "Green" tour.)

"Avenging Disco Godfather"
Sorry I'm late.
Seriously, I had no knowledge of this movie prior to this week, and I named myself back in June.
This must be what it's like for an adopted person to meet his parents for the first time.

@Cosmicslop: Wait, there's such a thing as Tool fangirls? Where do they grow ? I need to know this so I can move there.

And lest we forget, Fishbone on "SNL" …

I've seen Ghostland Observatory twice now, and they were pretty good both times. My friend after the show: "Man, they were weird, but the chick was kinda hot!"
I didn't have the heart to to tell him …

Naw: The "Butterfly" song was Crazy Town (ripping off a sample from the Chili Peppers), whose former frontman was on "Celebrity Rehab" or some shit.
Third Eye Blind was "Semi-Charmed Life," and I'll brave the wave of hipster hate to say that whole first album is pretty good, "Jumper" notwithstanding.

I saw Rocket From the Crypt once at the Cat's Cradle in North Carolina: I liked their albums, but I was a little disappointed.

I heard Gorilla Grope is going to be the villain in the new Batman.
